Indeed. All the hit boxes are so bad. The damage is the lowest. Enemies drop out of the combo super early. The frame data is hella slow. And the strength of the weapon, the ranged attacks, are inaccurate, poor range and low priority. It’s insane how bad they made ranges base stats

I feel you on the Shisui Katana, the window to confirm off of its heavy attack is probably less than 30% of what it used to be. With that said, the new lightning swords almost replace it's old functionality in survival.

Lol glad you added “in survival” because the lapis infinite required the correct distance, flat land, attack speed stat, and the enemy to have a longer substitution cool time like explosion clone or multi shadow clone. On top of that, you gotta consistently jump cancel your heavy. I miss the old shisui katana😭

The stuff you could do with old Shisui Katana was toooo clean, especially if you had Swift Step on. You could get the confirm from across the map and still get to them 🔥

Fun fact: you can fly with the lapis fang blades by using the L, L, H in the air repeatedly and you can fly infinitely. Its too slow to be practical though

Tbh the Lapis Fang feels like what the Kiba Release swords wished they could be. Kiba's could be a lot better simply by letting the heavy attack hit at more agressive angles.

10:30 That’s one of the reasons I barely run Infinite Tsukuyomi when playing with randoms. They’re so dumb and will get in the way, causing me to waste my ult. All they have to do is wait and the enemy will be a one shot but instead you want to try and kill them with full health!

True. Range type is super reliant on specific things or it just doesn’t work well. They really wanna live by that loading screen tip of range types staying by teammates and not being alone

Yo I haven’t seen you use the good close range combo for bubble flute it’s xxy on the ground and it puts them in this animation were it throws a crap ton of tiny bubbles in there face and stuns them also with the lapus fang the xxy combo I use most because it spins them midair And the xxxx throws your swords into the ground and hard knocks them for a majestic or amatersu

for attack, solid build thats been working for me is obogoruma and rasengan for base/flag cause oboguruma 2nd activiation can break sand shield/water pillar and rasengan knocks off base/flag. not much else to it but would love to see your idea of what else would be best for that build in terms of Secret Technique and other things

I'd rate it like 1. bubble 2. shisui 3. kiba blades 4. kusanagi 5. whatever With ofc something occasionally being #1 in some situation while being #5+ in others. Bubble pipe has some combo resets when near the ground, making it shoot twice really fast, and each bubble is like 10% hp+, they turn on substitution without delay, they exceed the runspeed with jumpcancel sometimes, bubbles last for a long time, some 8sec ezpz, both attacking and defending with them is very strong, 1v4 viable.

imo lapas fang has better combos than kusanagi with the right tools u have a good build there so easy to get a 25 piece now with a bad build kusanagi can carry for you plus the heavy spam is like a re worked shisui katana gets the job done
