Yeah naw personally for me idc about the answer not being in it, it was really boring. All i care about is the aigis and elizabeth hangouts which will be there so it's a win for me

Not a fan, but I at least respect that it exists as a 2nd campaign and is canon to the rest of the series, explaining the motivations of the P3 cast, namely Aigis and Elizabeth, in later games like the Arena duology. It's extra gameplay, and an important part of the series that should've been in a remake of P3. And unlike the extra parts of P4G and P5R, The Answer is a separate mode that doesn't interrupt or intersect with The Journey. You can choose NOT to play it if you don't want to without feeling like you missed something. So better to have it than not.

I honestly haven't played The Answer yet (despite beating FES years ago. Admittedlybecause of the reputation plus loads of other stuff got in the way), but I'd still rather it be there than not just for the fact that it is a part of the P3 story and I know there are people who like or at least appreciate it.

​@@saxor96 I feel like the game being entirely rebuilt from the ground up is a good enough reason to replay it. I saw that argument when FFVII Remake came out too, that people "don't want to play a super faithful remake because they've already played the original", but if you love the game then wouldn't you want to experience it with new visuals, redone music, and quality of life improvements? It's not even coming out for over 6 months or more, and by that point I feel like you won't have that FES fatigue.

I expected that the remake wouldnt include femc or the Answer. Neither of which bother me too much, since I wasnt really into Persona until I finished P4 and P3P. The only thing i hope to be in the remake is the ability to control everyone.

Removing content is still removing content. What is the point of this Remake if is not going to include everything from the previous versions? The Answer is canonical no matter how we feel about it (I hate the damn thing) and Femc is canonical as well even if she is from another timeline. Both of them should be in game. Remakes should never cut content, only expand on it.

@@mn9137 What do you mean "What is the point of this Remake"? Dude this is a ps2 game (FES came out in 2008), they dont need any other reason to remake it. Just having 3D world exploration, party control and anime cutscenes in the same game is going to make playing it much more enjoyable. Dead Space and Resident Evil 4 are much newer and they both got awesome remakes (and RE4 remake also cut some content). I never said that getting less content is good, im just saying I understand why they did it and I think its idiotic to say that not having some additional content from rereleases means that the whole remake is ruined now. I would rather have expanded and more polished The Journey, than having them double their workload just to add femc and The Answer (to make the answer good you pretty much need to almost completely rewrite and rebalace it). They also already confirmed that they are going to make Tartarus more interesting and add additional scenes for underdeveloped characters (that probably means we are getting more scenes with male party members and maybe Strega will actually become real characters in this remake).

Bet you loved BDSP and it's lacking of Platinum content, making it a worse game on principle since the relic from over 10 years ago has more content than the 2023-2024 release.

Quality > quantity, if they want to remove some low quality content and focus on polishing the actual good stuff in Persona 3 then I see that as a good call. Hopefully they do the same when they remake Persona 4 and get rid of the horrendously bad Golden content.

@@Jordan3DS Remakes should NEVER remove content. Only improve upon then. And you're delusional if think Atlus is going to take away Golden content given how much they like to milk Persona 4. Especially because Golden is the only version of Persona 4 Atlus actually acknowledges, unlike Persona 3. Golden additions are part of main story, not a separate campaign like The Answer or remaking the whole game for a different MC. Golden only adds one dungeon, one character, two SLs and two new endings. They are also Canon, just like The Answer.

Haha my first persona was P3 FES and i loved the story of the answer, but man, what a low point in the combat and gameplay department, probably the most grindy and least interesting part of persona i have played. I didnt expect the answer to be in the new one, i am a little sad no femc, but hopefully thats just because you can social link everyone now

As someone who's only played the original game because I've heard how bad the Answer is, this remake is a dream come true! Sorry to FeMC/Answer fans though--But neither of those features matter to me at all. I hope they come as DLC (Free or paid) down the road.

See, that's your issue though: How bad you've *HEARD* the Answer is. Give it a shot yourself before jumping onto a bandwagon of other people saying that it's bad. I personally don't love the Answer since I feel that the original story was the most satisfying way to end things, but that doesn't mean that I didn't enjoy parts of it, or wasn't even willing to try it solely because I'd heard other people say it wasn't good. Just don't let other people's opinions online dictate what you think, especially if you have the ability to play said thing and form an opinion on it yourself.
