I remember a world in the late 80's early 90's when panini didn't have a strangle hold on the industry.

Those were the days! I was just telling someone that back in '86 my friends & I would go to our local card shop & pickup packs of Topps, Fleer & Donruss. Prices were reasonable & we didn't feel like products were out of our reach. I've recently tried getting back into the hobby but am shocked at the overpriced products! It's definitely not like before.

@@chino7287 what a shame we grew up in the wax junk era where they just overproduced everything. Beautiful cards that carry a significance because their Stars rookies but they're just not worth anything

Well unfortunately Panini used a lot of money blood sweat and tears to monopolies the sports card industry. You best believe they're gonna make sure they keep the hold on for a long long time!!

It’s worse up here in Canada. Normally blasters are $30-35 for us at Walmart, but the new topps chrome baseball blasters are $50

Awesome vid man! How do you decide which cards to send in for grades? If you could explain it like I were completely uneducated that would be awesome lol.
@RunGoodLife2 жыл бұрын
It mostly is a feel kind of thing. Depends on player / value of the card. Typically I wont grade a card that sells for less than $50 at the time.

Ive been able to get a TON of prestige, but i really dig the chronicle strictly for how varied the cards are.

Correct me if im wrong but was that pat mahomes in the chronicles box purple base? You had a tom brady base. Idk how that makes up for the whole box. But i thought the pat mahomes was purple letters
