Today's dice advice strategy tries to take advantage of a couple of rolls before then winning with the 7 which every roll always ends with. This strategy is called the Dark Angel.

I like the name. Very similar to a strategy I call the work-around, which is hybrid. Nice video and example!

This is really interesting, although I think I'd have to practice it at home for awhile before I'd be able to keep track of it in the heat of a real table.

I was keeping track of your winnings (albeit small in the beginning) but I was surprised to hear you say you weren't doing great, I thought this strategy was fantastic and I love playing the dark side because there are a lot of crappy (pun intended) dice throwers at my local casino. Obviously it doesn't always work, but when the table is cold, it's a great strategy to use. I like that the DC is delayed a few roles with minimal risk once the point is established.

I came up with a strategy very similar to this one. I also bet the hardways for the point. The difference is I would place a come bet Instead of the DC after the point is established. If the come bet hits I'd replace it. If the point is 4 or 10 I would also lay odds. I would also bet the field once with come. I've never tested the strategy on a real table but On electronic craps I'm usuLly up or break even.

Love your videos as always. I did a version of this at the casino about 3 weeks ago and made $900 in profit from my buyin. Jeremy you tend to roll 7's and short roll a lot of the time anyway, I'd love for you to explore more Dark Side strategies. I think you'll find that you will make money a lot of the time playing from the dark, at least in context of these videos you do.

I came up with a version of the DP followed by place or come bets once the point is set. A 4 or a 10 as the point for a travelled don't is worth more units in the follow up bets.

I do not like playing the dark side with craps, but this strategy has some potential to work at times. I will not employ it, but I will keep it in mind when I play craps next time.

Sprinkle in flat bets on 12 and 3 and Any Craps,and focus on hard 10. I wouldn't chase hard 6 and hard 8. Also,lay the 10 or 4.

Every roll does not end in the seven because dice-setters often make their come out point numbers, and even random shooters occasionally get on a hot roll.
@ColorUp
@ColorUp 23 күн бұрын
Right, but then they continue to shoot, the roll or hand will end with a 7 and the dice will pass to new shooter. Game always ends with a 7.

Treading water. It's an apt description of many of these types of 'hybrid' systems. I wouldn't call this a dark side strategy...I'd call it a "grey" strategy. Yes, betting both sides may mitigate some loss, will hedge, will help to play not to lose. But it's not playing to win. One side is going to eat the other...slowly but surely. I mean, how much would this roll session be up if the shooter bet, say, don't pass with full odds? Not treading water for sure. Then again, this session is many short rolls with many 7's. An apt player would take notice and adjust to take advantage.

The only downside I see here is we lose a lot if a 7 is rolled on come out. There's a 16% probability of rolling a 7, and I've seen it happen multiple times in a row!

I don’t understand the question. On a $25 minimum table a hard way bet is usually $5. On any lower limit table, $15, $10 etc. hard way bet is typically $1 bet

@@ColorUp well, in Singapore mbs rules are different. The 25 minimum table hardway are 25 bucks while only the props bets are $5. I realise the video method kills when it hits the points even before it hits any 6/8..

As with all DP strats they pay until they don't. For me the key is flipping the switch to collect bets before round ends by 7 or point. I like that he waits a few rolls before starting DC to many would be winners on DP get lost by recycling DC bets and 7 comes.

I love the roll outs, strategies, and your videos in general but if I may make one criticism I feel you're repeating explanations too many times. Example: talking about getting change to add caps to the 6/8. Maybe it's helpful to the beginners but it does feel like it takes away from the flow of the video. Idk. I get doing it once or twice but after watching so many of your videos it does make things a little boring hearing explanations for the basic things I literally hear in every one of your videos. I feel like you're going to see basic stuff like that in multiple videos so you don't need to stop to explain it the 5th/6th time in each video. Perhaps I'm an outlier for this. Still love seeing you share these strategies; I regularly play your favorite when I'm low bankroll.

Thanks for thoughts. The data says most my videos are watched by new beginners. And comments asking simple questions confirm this. It’s a great problem as it means the game is being introduced to more players, but understand how it can be bothersome to more experienced players.
