Kings Island is possibly the best nighttime park in the country. Orion, Mystic, and Banshee are great at night. The Bat and Adventure Express are even underrated at night. And of course, the legendary Beast night ride.

Backseat on the beast is one of the best coaster experiences I've ever had. The second half of the ride is crazy intense!

Just visited Kings Island today. Was able to ride Oriion twice. It was my first giga coaster experience. Absolutely amazing ride. Seriouse float time throughout. Jumped off and walked on to re-ride it with no wait time as it was right at park opening. Road Diamondback immediatly afterwards. Another incredible ride. I honestly don't know how anyone can choose which one is better. These are clrearly the best two rides in the park. Banshee and Mystic Timbers would be 3rd and 4th. Such great variety of ride experiences with these 4 coasters. I've been riding The Beast since it opend in 1979. I still have a lot of nostalgic feelings for it but 5th place is right for it now.

My favorite coaster at Kings Island is Orion, followed by Diamondback, Mystic Timbers, Beast, Banshee, Bat, Firehawk (R.I.P.), Flight of Fear, Backlot Stunt Coaster, Adventure Express, Racer, Vortex (R.I.P.), and Invertigo.

Adventure express should be second to last. It's very boring. Good theme I guess, but the ride itself isn't good So glad you had mystic #2. It's such a great ride. Despite being dwarfed by diamondback and Orion, the speed and fun factor of mystic makes it a close 2nd for me.

Wow, you have Adventure Express ranked high. KI is my home park so I’ve ridden these all multiple times. I respect the rankings, but mine is quite different: 1: Diamondback 2: Mystic Timbers 3: Orion 4: Banshee 5: Beast (#1 at night) 6: Bat 7: Racer 8: Flight of Fear (used to be #6) 9: Invertigo 10: Backlot Stunt Coaster 11: Adventure Express 12: Woodstock Express 13: Flying Ace 14: Great Pumpkin I anticipate Snoopy’s Soap Box Racers to enter as my #11 or #12. We shall see lol.

Being born and raised in Cincinnati, I have been to K.I. many times and comparison to other places, I put Kings Island in number one There used to be another park in Cincinnati called Lesourdesville Lake. Though not as big and grand as Kings Island, it is still fun. If it’s still around, you should check it out.

Orion may be a bit short, but it has a better first drop than Fury. It's fantastic airtime for days in any seat.

Objectively speaking, 1. Mystic Timbers (By far the most intense and well-paced ride in the park) 2. Orion (Amazing ride, nothing mind blowing, but come on, it’s a giga-coaster) 3. Banshee (Likely the best b&m invert I’ve been on.) 4. Diamondback (It’s a b&m hyper, they’re literally all good) 5. The Beast (I love the length, terrain, and tunnels on this ride. Unfortunately, I never got a night ride, and I felt the ride lacked the amazing elements you see on rides like mystic timbers. (Considering the ride is old asl.) Also almost got a headache with the roughness of my second ride.

Me and my family went to kings island yesterday, I used to ride every roller coaster at parks I went to when I was younger..as I got older they gave me bad anxiety and I quit riding them. My kids love rides and would get on any of them, expect my 6 year old even though he got on Woodstock express having never really rode many rides. He said he didn’t like it but rode it 8 maybe 9 times lol. I asked my daughter if she would ride a roller coaster with me because I had been working up the courage all day, for some reason I thought banshee would be a good place to start. Almost walked out of line as we were getting in our seats but the workers were kinda rushing people as the rides were closing soon so I got on regretting it. I’m so upset with myself that I waited until the end of the night to get over my fear again because I wanted to ride all of them after that. Didn’t realize how intense people say banshee is but I guess it’s a good thing I started with that one to get over my fear again lol

I would say the ratings might be a little bit more than what I would say, but I have been surrounded by Kings Island my whole life. So that could be me being used to these roller coasters (besides a few more recently made ones). Did you know that 2019 was the year Orion was put into construction? I remember seeing the workers on the Eiffel Tower. been 5 years already!

Good video and content. We all have our own opinions. I like The Bat better than Adventure Express. It truly is the best Suspended Coaster. Definitely better than Iron Dragon. I also wouldn’t have The Beast @ #5. It’s a great coaster and an epic night ride that deserves a perfect 10 for the night time rides. I also feel Diamondback is too low at #4. Mystic Timbers is an interesting coaster. The first time I rode it in either 2018 or 2019 I loved it. Since then, I’ve had some rough rides on it. Maybe I sat on a wheel seat or the restraints cinched down on me, I can’t recall. I’ll make sure I try to avoid both of those happening next time. Also, The Shed is disappointing. I feel like that should have that at the beginning of the ride or at least be scarier at the end. Kinda like the weird lift hill at the end of Adventure Express. It should be at the beginning with a drop. I won’t argue with your #1 ranking of Orion at KI. I love that coaster. It catches a lot of unnecessary hate, because it doesn’t have a 300 plus foot lift hill, only 287 feet. I’ll be back at the park on Friday. I hope the park isn’t super busy. If so, my son and I will buy the fast lane passes. He hasn’t rode Backlot Stunt Coaster, so he wants that credit. We both want the credit for the new Snoopy’s Soap Box Racer. We both are excited to get rides on The Racer since the retrack. My son doesn’t have a night ride on The Beast. That’s changing on Friday. He also wants to get a good ride on Mystic Timbers.

Well done video and solid list pal. I love the Arrow Mines - I have a question from your viewpoint. If an Arrow Mine gets a retheme, is it a whole new credit? I cite something different, Cedar Point had "Disaster Transport" which was an enclosed bobsled coaster formerly"Avalanch Run" - The same Coaster, but not enclosed, however, many say this is two credits because it's two different experiences. Invertigo, most people will say it's one ride, however going up backward first is one experience, and going first forward would be two totally different experiences. Do you feel that Racer Blue, Racer Red, Adventure Express 2023-24 vs 20-21 version, and Invertigo forward vs backward are all different coaster credits? Thank you and cool vid.

Banshee is the only B&M at Kings Island that I felt took advantage of the topography of its plot of land. Its second loop is probably bigger than Raptor's, the scale throughout is amazing, it's almost like having a hyper invert. With Diamondback and Orion, they both feel like missed opportunities. Diamondback could have taken advantage of a natural ravine, but Orion is the real disappointment. Cedar Fair could have, AT LEAST, cut loose with those vital 13', and opted to create a low to the ground jaunt through the woods (Dinosaurs Alive pathing was already in place). All of these coasters are good, and KI is great, but I will continue to lament that Orion was *designed* to stay in the shadow of MF and Fury.

Kings island isn’t amazing it’s sub par. Woodstock air rail. Is rough af. It’s horrid. Invertago rough and not worth the wait pass. Woodstock express. Great kid ride. Stunt coaster. It’s decent pretty smooth. Flight of beer. Long freaking waited most of its inside with ac. The rides rough but dang is it amazing. The racer. Still a solid ride blue side definitely is the best. Bat. Best ride in the park, hands down smooth quick ride time. 10/10. Adventure express. Super freaking rough they didn’t change anything with the upgrade. It’s passable. The beast. Wow super smooth very aggressive it’s definitely a must ride they totally made it feel original since the upgrade from last year. Diamond back. Solid,smooth and you don’t touch your seat Banshee it’s cool and no it’s smooth af this guys kinda off on a lot of things. Mystic timber. This year it sucks previous years it’s been amazing. Orion. It’s a quick ride long wait and it’s definitely a hype ride I won’t wait an hour to ride it.
