Ideas for the royalty core - maybe you could lean into the Versailles type of royal aesthetic? I think Versailles would be a good reference point because the roof is flat like how you started with, so you wouldn't have to deal with the challenges you ran into with the windows on the pointy roofs. Also you can copy that kind of garden if you were planning on doing the landscaping in royaltycore as well.

Goth aesthetic may primarily be black for classic goth, but also incorporates dark jewel tones. Emerald, Ruby, sapphire. It really does depend on the kind of goth there are so many types from lolita goth, rainbow goth, classic goth, rock goth....

I love a good build challenge, and this one came out so cool! I was doing an 'every room is a different trait' challenge and allowed myself to keep the flooring and windows consistent, but the rest was a struggle. It's so hard to pick the best room in this build, though--the nursery is amazing, and the witchy/academia vibes are so good. The outside is always really hard, so don't even worry about it. I would still totally download this off the gallery

Build Idea : Place several of the same cheap object (say the metal chair for example) on a lot. Use the simray to transform these objects into other things. Only use the transform action ONCE on each item! You must use a certain number of each of these transformed items to build the room/lot no matter how weird the item is you get. Example : Use 2 transformed items within each room and/or for the theme of the landscaping.

Oddly enough, I can see a story there. Like, a good witch decides to adopt a vampire baby (maybe Vlads baby) and raise them to be good. The nursery is all Black and even has Vlad's picture so the baby will be raised to know, accept and love who they are, but, the rest of the house is sort of the witches "territory". Her room is rodeo styled because that's where she was raised and is reminds her of the childhood she had before she became a wizard. The downstairs, on the other hand represents her present-self (responsible and studious). The kitchen is kidcore because that's where she plans of building her relationship with the child and the dinning room and bathroom are sort of "neutral" zones.

I headcannon that this home is owned by witch who comes from a rich family living in Chestnut Ridge (explaining the witch living room, rodeo master bedroom, royalcore exterior and glam bathroom). She’s an aspiring author and a single mother to either a witch, werewolf, or vampire baby who decided to move somewhere else to focus on her writing and raising her baby (explaining the light academia office, goth nursery, and kidcore kitchen)

I just found it odd she waited so close to the end of the challenge! She could have powered through and finished in a few weeks if she wanted. Of course she can do what she wants with her channel, but people are going to lose any interest people still had if it's on every few weeks and don't remember the storyline 🤷‍♀️ oh well.

This looked like fun- I'm definitely more of a creation person than a player of Sims, @KelseyImpicciche- & you did amazing for what you did! Would it have made any difference if you had started with the outside & worked your way in? Like getting royal-core for the outside & then moving to the interior after- or, since you got witch-core first, would that have become the motif for the exterior instead?... I feel ya, it's a tedious process, but also think about how that's basically what interior/exterior designers go through on a regular basis. Overall, I'd have similar vibes, but having not played Sims in forever, I'm not sure I'd be able to do anything decorative wise without also going WAY over budget in the long haul lol. Regardless, you did amazing in the rooms you did do ^_^

For a Royalcore exterior I would’ve made the edges of the roof look like the castle wall with shorter and taller half walls, add like two towers at least for decoration, change the landscaping so it’s on a hill, add a moat, and made the outdoor decor very medieval
