My driving teacher is also really good at teaching, while another one (who I have switched away from) was reeeeally bad, its night and day. i mean it depends how your using yoru, his abilities dont inherently make space in the same way a jett dash or raze satchels do because he can cover too much distance in some cases, for example if you TP to back site B on ascent as your yoru entry your team has no help getting out of the actual choke point, that TP does nothing to pressure CT or market and only pressures lane and stairs so in many cases they wont be able to come out and help you because your choice of entry pathing didnt allow them to.

@@joehicks929 this. I played mostly Cypher/Controler fill, Chamber for a while, but wanted to learn Yoru. TP'ing too far from my team was one of the mistakes I was making because it's not making much impact most of the time. Sometimes flash with tp to cross first angle on Ascent B main because there could be the op holding it is better, because you close the distance and become a therat to the oper or just force them to leave their post.

The worst part about his heaven cage is that he threw it wrong. It's too high up so it's not a real one way, and there's a lineup for a heaven one way that you can throw from the heaven box, which would keep him available in the fight. So he took himself out of the fight to get the lineup, just to miss the lineup, and have 0 value in the fight, all for a one way that wasn't a one way.

He basically says you need to leave your skills and focus on gameplay. Im cypher main and i had 450 hours on cypher while i was stuck diamond. Then i realised the exact same thing that woohoojin said. Cure for myself was instapicking reyna and maining until i get confortable with raw gunplay and not focusing on any skill before getting a kill. Reyna is literally an antidote for that situation imo.

I used to play like this until I watched a lot of dapr to understand really what I was supposed to be doing with Cypher and being more aggressive with info gathering. Playing like a pseudo Sova/Fade. Attack/Lurk Cypher is one of my favorite roles to play.

Cypher mains should be topping first bloods especially on attack half because he has a lot of ways of opening up the map and looking for duels. You can walk into two angles by caging off one, you can spot people with cam, you can use cam to displace their crosshair and peek. I keep finding myself getting more first bloods than Jett instalockers because he's just built for taking space solo. 5:05 ever since I was silver in Tokyo server they always do the corner plant when site is clear. I thought it was common sense but I guess it's not.

11:15 as a Sentinel main, specifically a Chamber main. I was so triggered he didn't even use his 2nd trip for flank. He totally deserve to lose that round. I don't even use Cypher and that round made me so disappointed. Also, pretty good timing because I just reached Plat a few weeks ago, and practicing different Sentinels, especially Cypher since I like his ratty playstyle, so this will help me a ton. I'm pretty tired of one-tricking Chamber now and I want to have some variety on my agent pool.

Play more passively, play with nasty off angles and experiment with his anchors on where's the best tp rotation setups are, off angle setups etc. He's good to carry in low elo, and in solo queue high rank matches. I've seen my computer shop friend play Chamber and dominate. He's Immortal 2. His Trademark's pretty much useless but at least you can still get info from it. Esepcially with the 5000 units range buff. He's dominant on Pearl and Haven. His OP is FAR from useless. You can snowball your economy HARD especially if you're ahead and you have your Ult up. Imagine you win 3 rounds in a row and light buying the 2nd round with a Sheriff with Light shields and only a Trademark and you have your ult up next round. You can theoretically buy 2 Vandals for your team with that advantage, and you don't need a single gun to buy. Just a Shorty, Trademark and your Ult OP, then when the rounds ends, recycle the enemy's guns. In pro play, he's a troll pick. In ranked matches, he's still good. Not dominant like before, but good. Just play him differently because you're really going to int hard if you do. He's VERY good at lurking, too. So try that I guess. If you're so worried about Chamber being the only Sentinel on your team, just let them lock another Sentinel like Deadlock, KJ or Cypher.

Before watching. I hate sentinel mains, I hate when I play sentinel too. something about playing sentinel turns players into useless baiters that stay on the wrong site for too long (I do this too sometimes). they always always always end up late to the fights, they dont know how to lurk, they never fight with team. and the amount of times its 2v2 ive had spike on my site and we know where last is and my sentinel player is still shift walking halfway across the map is unreal. And im asc 3 im not super low rank, ud expect these players to know that u have to take fights and that standing afk behind a wall is not good go get some info DO ANYTHING PLEASE. idk ppl hate duelist for baiting etc but i think most duelist try to go in etc, for me its the true sentinel one tricks that i hate bc the game encourages sentinels to literally do nothing. Like in the way their kits are designed its so easy to think ur useful because ur util is up. (chamb doesnt count bc his kit wants to take fights)
