See, I had this as a copied video (it hadn't come out in the UK yet on video or DVD and we couldn't get time to watch it at cinema) and this was the voice I remember. Then when it came out in UK and we bought it on DVD, it was Jonathan Ross instead. And it just never felt right 😂. My parents never watched the copied version as it was really grainy, so they didn't understand the fuss my brother and I were making about it. The UK edit felt like an imposter, that we thought it may be a fake 😆.

In true DreamWorks fashion, Doris, who shares traits with Divine and other Drag Queens, is never presented antagonistic or evil, alongside the rest of the "evil" fairy tale characters in Shrek 2, she's more like a rejected member of the society. One thing I love about Doris is her honesty especially with herself. Even though she knows her infatuation with Prince Charming is not the healthiest but a least she is true to her own feelings, unlike Rapunzel.
