Honestly this is kind of emotional to watch, when I started playing I loved to watch Penta and after that G2. That squad in their prime was so amazing to see. And hearing Kix's voice casting, gone too soon.

I think one of the most striking things about the competitive scene in this game is how diverse the top teams are. I’m a lot of other esports you have like 2-3 teams who are pretty much in the finals every year and every once in a while a lower team will make a run but in this game it’s like different 2 teams in every finals… obviously you’ve got some staples like g2 but it’s ALOT of different teams all making it to the finals

The most beautiful story told was the cinderella run that happened in the major of Mexico. Team One about to be eliminated and had to win 3 games in a row to go to the playoffs, defeated soniqs and had to defeat cyclops by 7-2, otherwise it would be eliminated by round balance, and after winning by exactly 7-2 . For the first and only time in R6 there was a tiebreaker match against Cyclops. Team One won that match and qualified for the playoffs, the rest is history. Team One Major Champion

Its honestly amazed me to see how quickly we kinda went from a tactical/very execution heavy approch in SI19 to a kindof very aggressive gameplay. Like look at the G2 takes, their approach was 90% tactical. But then we got teams like Empire and later on teams that kindof build around aggressive players like Beaulo or Shaiiko and G2 quite struggled with it. I can't deny I miss the Siege meta from 2019 cause that was the reason why I fell in love with the game but also can't say that current Siege is bad/ less tactical just that these kindof slow approaches doesn't work as consistently as they used to.

TL winning PL final feels like yesterday. Sad that they didnt win more with that squad. Sexycake is still the top 3 support of all time in my mind. Stopped watching and playing the game around the Penta vs. Liquid final when Apex came out, but man Siege is still probably my favorite game I’ve ever played and by far my favorite eSport. So much strategy and such a diverse pool of top teams without one region constantly dominating. I was a big CTM / EG fan, and it was cool to see Canadian still competing

The Pros and the Players in general deserve a better game than what is siege today. After OP Health everything went bad. If they roll back the game to the Operation Health patch we would see a peak in player numbers we have never seen in siege. I bet my car on that.
