Yea this and Kobe's 81 were both necessary to get the win, whereas the Devin Booker 70pt game was a straight-up full team effort stat pad to get him to 70...and they still lost. ...at least this performance and Kobe's were a "jump on my back and I'll get is to the W" legendary hero moments...and to think kobe did his within regulation

As someone who grew up watching the golden era of 90's basketball I tend to not enjoy a lot of the mostly offense, little to no defense that is the current NBA; but it's always remarkable when a guy goes off like this not because of stats, but because his team actually needs him to keep going in order to win.

What are you talking about? The golden era of basketball is today. Players today are better than ever, they’re more skilled than ever, and the level of competition is incredible Nostalgia is a powerful feeling, but NBA Basketball was NOT better in the 90s

@@reconsh6770 defence is better than ever. Quit the propaganda. We have hybrid zones now that can neutralize any offensive player and force them to acquire a different set of skills, something the 90s players didn’t have. Evolution of the game. And handchecking is irrelevant. It was never a serious defensive tactic and anyone who hand checks a modern athlete would just get blown by.

@@DawgPound86 NBA L2M, as expected, rules that Jarrett Allen should've been called for a travel with 12.1 seconds left in regulation and that Donovan Mitchell committed a lane violation on his putback that forced OT.

That rule is crap anyway,he is at the biggest disadvantage in that lane, farthest away.and maybe he left that line .25 seconds early,so what. This man's 71 point effort was nothing but work.

Not a bulls fan or anything but kinda feel bad for them, Donovan lane violated on that put back to send the game to overtime, Caruso got called on a lane violation twice, just wish the refs were consistent, not great officiating on the their part, but congrats to Donovan for his masterful performance

They did what the mavs did with luka, a comeback that came down to free throws, needed to hit the first, then miss the second, get the rebound and put it back up with less than 5 on the clock for overtime. In both games the shooter got their own rebound. And both took over in overtime. Insane
