Also, around this time it was when he (Reece) had just had an ugly public fallout with his then record label (Ambitiouz Entertainment). On the other side, Nasty has always had the 'luck' of dealing with major labels without being ripped off unlike Reece. Both of them came up almost at the same time, but Nasty blew up way before his counterpart, thus, when they both landed in the mainstream industry their respective labels tried to create a lil competition between them (considering that they were the only popping youngins at that time on the scene) and eventually the public weighed in on the 'who is a better artist' topic. To cut it short, their quarrel emanated from a mere music competition- how it grew or branched out from there I can't say. Now, the quoted line above is a shot or subliminal directed at Nasty. As already mentioned above, Reece became independent from there on to date and Nasty, on the other hand, has been moving from one label to another- hence "you're just funded nigga." This phrase alludes that Nasty is not really that special as he gets everything handed to him on a silver platter, while him as an independent artist he grinds hard and breaks his back for the stuff he does or get. I hope this helps and I stand to be corrected on anything I mentioned above.
