Little Yellow Book could've actually been good. There could've been this thing where someone reads squidward's diary asking "how would you feel if I read your diary" and then squidward reads their diary and becomes a mass diary reader and a wanted criminal or something and meets that guy. Or Patrick could've defended Spongebob and they become Cops Against Diary Reading or just anything more interesting than what Little Yellow Book Actually was.

Well, just to top it off, the way Spongebob got fired could've been more well thought out, too. Spongebob could've set the Krusty Krab on fire or caused some accident to get fired. Maybe he thought of an idea like "Floor of Mousetraps Day" every one who crosses the floor gets a discounted patty. The idea lost the Krusty Krab lots of money because customers sued after getting hurt. I wish I could write for this show. Merry Pissedmas to you! 🎄

Considering Spongebob on many occasions destroyed the krusty krab (with customers present at times) that would be a bit problematic. Unless it was done so over the top that the fish navy or something came in to take spongebob away or something.

True... But the episode was still just chock full of wasted potential. And now I want to see how "Floor of Mousetraps Day" would've turned out.

I think all of the bad episodes from this season (whether it was just one PGR thought was bad, or one that you-- yourself-- think is bad) could've been good if different approaches were taken towards them. Even "SpongeBob, You're Fired!" could've been redeemable. The biggest reason why that episode is my most hated episode of not just season 9, but the ENTIRE series is because there's just so much wasted potential. Ignoring the fact that SpongeBob has been fired at least on 2 occasions prior to this episode, there were so many, MANY opportunities they could've made this episode good: - They could've made SpongeBob work for The Chum Bucket, and that put Mr. Krabs in a HUGE slump. You would think this episode of all episodes would've been one where Plankton would've seized the opportunity of SpongeBob being a free agent fry cook; especially since Plankton was Season 9a's MVP character. - They could've used SpongeBob making the homemade snail food as a HUGE sub-plot. SpongeBob could've realized that he could've found a new calling, made LOTS of money, and maybe have Mr. Krabs learn a lesson, apologize, and then maybe the episode could've ended with Mr. Krabs and SpongeBob combining their businesses together, and have SpongeBob split the profit w/ Mr. Krabs 50/50, AND SpongeBob could be the Krusty Krab's fry cook, again. - They could've used a better reason to fire SpongeBob besides saving a freaking nickel. When the paper lands on the grill and catches fire, having a huge fire started because of that would be a PERFECT reason to fire SpongeBob. I actually made a video on how I would fix that particular episode, and the biggest reason why is because it's my most hated of the entire series. That's even including every Squidward Torture Porn, every Patrick's a Prick episode, every Mr. Krabs is a Jerk episode before this one, and every SpongeBob Torture Porn before this one. Literally, though, this episode was just 22 minutes of filler that was advertised to trick you into thinking this was going to be something big. A ratings trap, a SpongeBob Torture Porn, a Mr. Krabs is a Jerk episode, potential subplots that were wasted, jokes that weren't anywhere close to being funny, but above all.... BORING.

Wow, you got around to this season sooner than I expected. I haven't watched SpongeBob that much since the 7th season, but I had no idea that the 9th one spanned for THAT long! Another awesome video, Pieguy! Always appreciate all the hard work you put into these videos, they just get better and better. Can't wait for season 9b, things get really interesting and (in my opinion) better! I don't think 9b is as good as the 'golden era' of Spongebob and certainly has a few duds, but it kind of has its own unique feel to it with some pretty good episodes. 9b offers a bit of fresh air with some new writers, something I feel like the show really needed since it's going on for so long.

I wasn't surprised that PieGuy called Patrick-Man a Scumbob despite MrEnter having it as No.19 of his Top 25 Post Movie/Pre Sequel Spongebob episodes. I didn't really like that one either. But I'm surprised PieGuyRulz called Safety Deposit Krabs a Scumbob despite being No.14 on MrEnter's same list and I actually liked that one.

For Safe Deposit krabs, where krabs was running out of oxygen, he was able to breathe in the vault because in the Krabby Patty that ate Bikini Bottom, he was in Sandy’s tree dome with no water helmet on. Plus he even states it too by saying that he can go a few hours without water

I honestly tried to think of something that could be interesting for SpongeBob, You're Fired before it even aired because I had predicted it was going to be below average and sure enough I left the episode absolutely furious (I started to get bored right at the beginning gags) because I realized that the episode didn't care, wasted my time and had a lot of contempt for it's audience. "Kids don't care, they just want to see SpongeBob act like SpongeBob, they can digest anything as long as we hype it for months on end". Screw. That. Episode.

hey i have a question, i noticed that the episode air dates were out of order, for example i noticed that season 10 started before season 9 even finished, how does that make sense? And how come some of the episodes are so spaced out, a year and a half gap between two episodes? thats crazy, if you could explain the spongebob airing order and why they do it like that i would be very greatful

PIEGUYRULZ The reason Spongebob's milkshake come out hard is because it's revealed that when he goes to the machine to mix it and soften it, he always holds the milkshake too low that it doesn't touch the spinny thing.

Pie Guy, do you mind if I do a Every Episode of Steven Universe Reviewed in a similar format to how you do these? I wanted to ask, because I don't want you to think I was just mindlessly copying you, and wanted to see if it was alright with you if I do a similar format.
