The dialog options in career mode have real input recognition problems on my Xbox series X. If it’s a transfer negotiation, contract negotiation, pre match press conference or post match interview I will have to hover over the option that I want to pick and press the A button at least three times (sometimes five or six) before it selects the dialog option. Add this to the input delay and input recognition failure on the menu screens and the experience of navigating the non match related gameplay becomes very frustrating and tedious. This is a triple A release…

Thank God you mentioned the Career Mode games ending 1-0 or 2-0 all the time. I played a whole season with Bristol City and ended up conceding about 15 goals the entire season, while the team in second conceded about double that. My GK got about 30 clean sheets from 46 games in the league! The only difficult games all season were in the cups (vs Prem teams) and vs Leeds for some reason.

To be honest, I like the gameplay a lot better this year, it’s more chill, defending feels more realistic, tackles feel better and the goals scored make more sense, you don’t feel as powerless anymore when Mpaypal tries to dribble through your defense. And when you do score, it feels more rewarding because it actually requires some bit of skill. There’s is still a feeling of scripting sometimes though, and the keepers are making some weird mistakes I haven’t seen before, but overall, I think it’s better than the last few years.

Another stupid thing I would personally add is how you can disable the first transfer window for (supposedly) everyone but then in your next match the commentary team will comment on a transfer that's just happened and your team captain then complains why you've made no signings. ... Because I'm not supposed to be able to.😂

But the positive thing is that they have made a lot more sliders u can fix so after adjusting them to my liking the gameplay both in career mode and when i play kick off with my friends the gameplay is actually really good, but you shouldnt be forced to use sliders for the gameplay to be good and when u play ultimate team the problems gameplay wise comes back anyways
