Taking a banana to a tournament makes perfect sense when you know that it's gonna be a long run you need to fuel up, so your brain (which btw uses 20% of your caolrie intake) can work on a normal scale and doesn't get you distracted cause of hunger in a crucial moment

Italian here. We actually have spaghetti and meatballs in Italy but it isn't a very famous dish here. For burgers, I'd suggest Father's Office(4th fave, Santa Monica), Connie & Ted's(3rd fave, Hollywood), and Apple Pan(Westwood) all have some amazing burgers. If you're in San Fernando Valley, Brick Burgers(my 2nd fave) is the best. If you're in Silver Lake, check out Burger's Never Say Die(my personal favorite). Can't go wrong with any of them.

Hikaru, they eat spaghetti and meatballs in Sicily where my grandmother is from. They make the meat sauce with the meatballs and put it over spaghetti or other pasta, though sometimes the sauce they make is a lot drier than american tomato sauces you're probably used to from like Newmans or Ragu or whatever.

I have been playing chess for less than a month and am around 800 right now, but today I had one game where I played suboptimally, losing a pawn in the beginning, blundering a piece in the midgame, and that advantage translated to him having two connected pawns and a rook while I only had a rook. He blundered M1 twice, but I saw it only once: My position is Kh7 and Re6, his position is Kh5, Rg5 and pawns on h3 and g4, and it's his turn. What does he play? Pawn to h4, immediately losing to Rh6
