Hi!David you are doing a great job.I have a passion one day to be a sugar cane vendor after my retirement.Because we do grow alot of sugar cane in Northern Nigeria,however, my people still strict to the traditional way of chewing the cane.I hope i should change the narrative by your innovation.

We drink a lot this juice in Brazil and even the simplest vendors peel the sugarcane. I've never seen non peeled sugarcane juice, by the way.

You are fortunate to have a clean variety. Congrats. In SE Asia it depends on the location. They tend to irrigate the fields only in the dry season January through May and let the rain do the work June through December.

I actually started a video on that but after discovering their are hundreds of varieties and new ones being created all the time, I honestly gave up. How could such a video be made? It would be out of date a month after it would be released. Each Sugarcane Growing Country has their own Government agencies that list varieties recommended for the farmers. That is a good place to get bulk information.
