I been on a planner journey for some time and I can gladly say that my 2024 A6 Take a Note will be the first time I have ever stayed with a planner consistently for the whole year! I always planner hop so this is a huge deal for me. Looking forward to using it again in 2025 :D

Hi! Curious what you used for your cover if you had one?
@YosekaАй бұрын
@goodpocky2 if you're looking for a cover for the TAN A6, TAN actually makes a clear cover. The Hobonichi A6 covers would work too since the two books are comparable in size.

I bought an A5 again this year and included a B6 this year. It's stunning. I love the format for busy days and I think I'm falling in love with this planner over my tried and true, A5! Love from California.

I love Tamoe River paper and had heard negative things about the 68 GSM but I tested several pens and markers and they performed well. I like both and love the 2 days per page that would work well for me to journal or use as a “daily”

I’m being sensible this year and sticking to one planner. This TaN is giving me so many ideas for an undated future work planner to recreate when project planning in extra notebooks I’m planning on using from my stash. The weekly layout is 🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽

I have been trying out the Weekly Undated Vertical Take a Note for the last few months, and I absolutely love it. I was hoping they'd have a dated full-year version so I could use that in 2025. Unfortunately ,it doesn't seem like they do. The idea of going in and dating a full year wasn't especially appealing for my lazy bum haha. But if you're reading this Take-A-Note, please consider making a dated vertical Weekly planner! I love the paper and how it is thicker than the Tomoe River in Hobonichi, but still has that special quality. And I love the very minimalist, simple aesthetic of TaN. Very sophisticated!!

I have loved my A5 TAN this year. It's so classy AND one of the most affordable planners I have come across as an international buyer. I am excited for the ten year anniversary sticker and new cover to go with my 2025 TAN.

I took a chance with the B6 Weeks last year. And I LOVE THIS PAPER. I was worried that the layout was too small but gave it time and it actually works perfectly. Not having the static hours does lead to some flexibility when filling it out. I do not know the number count for blank note pages for either of the As, but I can say that the B6 has 77, which for me was more than enough. And with the pages being numbered it was easy for me to put a refer to page xxx on the week it corresponds to. I did order a Koyuko DAYs this year (and a LITE for work) and I have to say I am already regretting it. The DAYs was my planner for several years and I loved it, but I found out AFTER I ordered that it is no longer a two book system. So I worry about bulk now. I might buy another TAN if there are any kicking around locally, but if not I will have to wait for 2026.

I'd seen the B6 in your planner stack for 2024 and really REALLY liked the look of it, so preordered for 2025. 2019-2024 I've planned in Hobonichi Weeks, but every time I see a video with the TAN B6 I am more and more convinced this will be my perfect work planner. Looking forward to 2025!

I first started on Take a note planner in A5 it was too big for me. I did not like A6 because its too small. Good thing they released Take a Note planner ing B6. It will be my planner for 2025 ☺️

I love take a note paper esp the weekly b6 because I need to see the week in one spread if I’m going to see the week at all. I used it for work last year too, but that feels like such a waste of the amazing paper. (Work notes for me are very scribbly and disposable.) I wish they did like a 2 book for one year version that had one page per day, I’d find way more use for that.

Will you have some samples in your Brooklyn store to look at if we wanted to check it out before pre ordering?
@YosekaАй бұрын
If you email us we can arrange to have some brought over when you are there! Typically they are not on display since we don't have them available for purchase in-store yet. Our email is support@yosekabox.com

That a5 sounds really enticing, cause I really do operate on timelines cause I record more than plan, and I record EVERYTHING that happens. I do wish the timeline was a clean 0-24, but I also have extremely irregular sleep, so does it actually matter 😂😂

I loved the vertical layout of the A5 TAN planner, but the paper drove me insane. It’s too thick for my liking and makes all my fountain pen nibs appear fatter than they are. All my EF’s looked like M’s. If they'd use the same 48 (?) gsm as the Hobonichi, I’d switch back in a heartbeat.
@YosekaАй бұрын
Aww thanks for sharing your experience though!

Question that is probably out of scope for the video, but has been a hesitation for making the switch from Hobonichi to the Take-a-Note. Would my covers for the A5 still work between the two systems? Feels like it could be the best of both worlds, but I've found the minor "A5-ish" wiggle room between different planners hasn't always worked out for using them as interchangeable covers.
@YosekaАй бұрын
Right, since the Cousin is a thicker book than the Take a Note A5, it might be a little loose in the cover of the Cousin. You could theoretically use the TAN A5 in the front cover and tuck another notebook into the back of the cover for more of a tight fit!

Take a Note itself hasn't begun shipping orders out so it would still be an October date.
