This isn't picking one of 14 balls out of a lotto ball machine, spinning a roulette wheel or flipping a coin. Each team in the playoffs has a shot, but based on each roster and skill level, all have varying degree's of "chance" to win and are not anywhere all equal. Teams like the Steelers and Texans do not have anywhere close to the same odds of winning as KC, Lions, Bills, etc.

For example, Jaylen Hurts, A.J Brown, Devonta Smith, Jordan Love, Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs are/were all questionable as of just last night and thats just for that one game. Models, however, are based on probabilities, and probabilities will always favor chalk. As a Lions fan, I would love for either the Packers or Commanders to win in the wild card round so the Lions don't end up playing back-to-back games against the Vikings (ugh...) or have to play the Rams again. Packers winning, of course, would make the path much easier by clearing out the Eagles, but still, divisional rivals for a third time in a season is not ideal.
