They didn’t have to include any cars if that was an issue so they can maintain the allusion. However, Harrison had won the leading role in Reaper (2007) and could no longer commit to the show, and so he was killed off by having him fall off the water tower fatally. Josh Meyers was then recruited to fill in for Topher Grace. The only core male teenager throughout the series with whom Jackie (Mila Kunis) never has a romantic relationship is Eric (Topher Grace). Their hostile nature towards one another is pointed out sporadically throughout the series. When Eric leaves for Africa, he is genuinely shocked that for the first time ever, Jackie calls the house specifically to speak to Eric, stating she always considered him a close friend. I think season 1 is more rock as it doesn't have the constant chord arpeggios that the rest of the seasons have. Those make it cornier for me/lose tension, and subtract from the actual riff.

There’s actually 2 different ones for Season 8, the one without randy (which was shown in video), and the one with him. He was the new hire at Hyde’s record store and was added to the intro just after episode one.

I think it's interesting that we never got an opening with Hyde and Jackie being close or with Hyde with a beard. I feel like so much of the show has these two aspects, that going through the openings and Not seeing it is strange... Also, my favorite part of the season 8 intro is Randy, so I guess there were two intros there?

Ana Isabel Pais I didn’t notice but Hyde and Jackie are sitting together in the backseat with Laurie :38-:41 for season 2-3 when they weren’t a couple but season 5-7 had them not sitting together even though they were a couple during those seasons; kinda confused on that part but this was the first time I saw the intro for season 8 and I felt like crying because no Eric, no Kelso and no Eric’s car. Also why did they show the license plate when they was no car!?!?
