When you were playing on Sydney it is possible that you were playing during a time where lots of people sleep (due to timezones), so it's possible there was only 1 FFA lobby and there with only abt 3 people bcz everyone was sleeping.

The reason why it puts you on the same map is becuse it wants it to keep the map to get to other ppl it does that alot
