The way I take it is that he refuses to not give up his ability to voice an opinion and he is so pissed off that he's going all out and taking anything he can get. When he says " my flower in your barrel hasn't stopped the slaughter yet" is to imply he's tried to make peace yet all he sees is more and more attacks. And "when all I am is a stone that says is the name I had is the years I had been" is referring to when he dies and all that's left is a gravestone none of it matters. The rest of the songs lyrics Also back the meaning by saying " the quiet depths and the measured steps won't echo like the shrieks of riot did is saying his pacifism won't make a lasting impression in the way him letting out everything he's cooped up inside.

ETID does it again. One of their first albums to seem to be influenced by older work. To me i hear some Gutter Phenomenon mixed with Ex-Lives. Have to be one of the most underrated metal bands.

Don't own this album unfortunately but every song I've listened too off it is fucking SICK AF, all the guitar work is really cool and interestingly different, the kieths vocals are next level 😍 and don't even get me started on his lyrics!!! I will never get bored of this band, they are a massive influence to me and my music/writing and the music they make is a massive help to my mental health, the goosebumps all their songs off of all their albums give me seriously makes me feel amazing. Sorry if this post is cheesy... Just wanted somewhere to express and write thankyou everytime i die, you guys are doing great things x

I have listen to them many times over the years but never really listened it’s almost 2024 and It finally clicked low teens and the big dirty are hitting right now and I love music and the fact that old music can still be new music this band is really complex and all over the place it took me so many listens to really hear the songs. Most of my favorite bands I didn’t even like the first few listens.
