There's tons of silly, unproven myths going around. Like milk being a great source of calcium. Yes, it does have a healthy amount of calcium... but the body only absorbs around 1/3rd of it. If calcium is what you mainly want, there's better sources for it. And there's actually no strong evidence that milk improves bone strength. And with how much reseach is actually funded by parties that have something to gain from it, it's pretty hard to say just how much of the positive research results are actually true. Anyhow, that being said... there's a lot of silly myths going around. And just googling something will often give you that wrong or incomplete answer right at the top.
