Garnet is an amazing character, yes its cliche, but she literally represents the term, "fighting for love" Her motive is to be able to live in peace and still let sapphire and ruby love each other Its inspiring and I take many lessons from garnet such as the following: - never let anything stand in between you and the people you love - just because you're apart, doesn't mean your alone - be a leader despite who says otherwise - love is love (my personal favorite)

When I first saw Garnet's fusion scene in the first season, I was in a very dark place in my life. At first, I saw their fusion, and I was so... Surprised and peaceful, I felt like everything was right and okay, and then... She started singing. And I realised that if we're stronger together, you already ARE strong by yourself, and you need to stay strong to become stronger! So I've worked hard and was able to get out of this very hard, dark phase I was going through. It took some time and a lot of work, but I'm proud to say that today, I am a changed, almost new person. I'm happy, I'm working on my dreams and I feel like everything is going to be okay. Thank you, Steven Universe.
