I felt really bad for Lee Hi, she has been with the company for 7 years but YG barely promoted her or put out comebacks for her despite having an insane amount of talent even at a young age heck she the was the freaking runner up for K-Pop star! Not to forget they put on her on a diet when she was still a child and said in a post on naver “How to become beautiful? It’s a diet”. Lee Hi was at a perfectly amount of weight when we first saw her on K-Pop star why? Because that’s what any 16 year old girl would look like and looked perfectly healthy there was absolutely nothing wrong with her appearance. The diet YG put on Lee Hi was unnecessary she was already beautiful to begin with. But I’m glad she finally parted ways with them and joined AOMG.

actually YG treats all his bands pretty badly. BIGBANG created themselves and, aside from GD and Taeyang, the others as soloists were treated very badly. Ikon and Winner have had mixed promotions but they are not helped by the agency either. Blackpink even worse because Teddy doesn't let the girls write or help him write their songs, they only recently did. The fact that the BPs are the new version of 2ne1 does not only apply to YG. YG has been looking for the new BIGBANG for years, (Winner was supposed to be the new version but they immediately distanced themselves enough) because all the companies are like this, Sm is an example, Fx》 RV》 Aespa, for JYP Wonder Girls》 Miss A》 Twice》 Itzy. Literally BLACKPINK as a project was as a 2NE1 replacement, a lot of their debut music were 2NE1 songs. You are right, it’s a testament to their hard work and talent that BLACKPINK is as successful as they are but they literally weren’t even allowed creative input to their music until they busted their behinds and earned the love and support of worldwide fans. I have a THEORY , I think blackpink was supposed to debut in 2018 , but something happened it may be 2ne1 mistreatment or a trainee visa issue or etc , so they decided to debut them early because if you look at it, forever young , playing with fire , as if it’s your last , were all supposed to be for 2ne1 , even whistle and boombayah sound like 2ne1 songs , I think they only debut them just to put out those unreleased songs , the blackpink idea didn’t start till 2018 , only with dudududu they started a different sound , I think blackpink was supposed to be a group with dududu, kill this love kind of sound , also the group was intended to be a international one but they started the international promotion in 2018

As a Blackjack it was disappointing and heartbreaking to hear of the disbanding. I always imagined what could have happened if 2ne1 stayed. Like if they were treated better. We could have had crossover albums with blackpink. A cool duo possibility with Jennie and CL, a ballad single with Park Bom and Rose. But no, YG doesn't know how to manage two girl groups at the same time and protect them.

@@wajeehasajad8888 no it was pinkpunk who supposed to debut in 2014 not 2013 however YG posted Future 2ne1 4years later in 2012 which mean in 2016 they supposed to debut Future 2ne1 however the pinkpunk members got cut into 4 and that’s blackpink today which a future 2ne1 group. FYI YG will debut girl group in 2022 with 9 members cuz back then they weren’t really have the capacity and experience with 9 members girl group that’s why it was delayed.

As i said before, I never forgive YG their (his) behavior towards 2NE1. And how Minzy was blamed by "fans" for their disbandment while all she wanted was just to do music broke my heart. But what makes me sad now are "blackjacks" not supporting their solo activities while all the queens slay af. About Lee Hi, I hope she's happy with AOMG but I see some similarities with Somi, she's under Blacklabel for ages and got only two singles, that's sad.
