very entertaining watch! i feel like a learned a lot, and i genuinely enjoyed all your commentary (for a whole hour! whoa! i didn't even notice the video length). one of the cooler videos youtube has recommended to me!! thanks for sharing! i'd be interested in seeing a series of this! my build style in the sims is very basic (suburban family, cottage and victorian lol), and i feel like i keep building the same thing over and over. a video like this feels like a showcase of all the ways i CAN build, if i'd get out of my comfort zone for once. i think i'm going to try to build a contemporary style house! ooh, or maybe a greek revival library or museum...

I think we have so many American based worlds because the devs are American and it’s easier to build what you’re familiar with then learning something new. Especially when there’s a possibility that if something is even slightly incorrect culturally, people will get upset. But I am also tired of seeing worlds based on the US. It’s repetitive especially since so many are in the west region (California, Nevada, Arizona, etc)

I definitely think that's fair, as even the non-american worlds are pretty American representations, but it's such a global game at this point it would be lovely to see more of that in the game.

i originally found you on tiktok, i didn't know you had a youtube channel too!! i distinctly remember binging your videos on the history of certain architectures and building them in the sims 4 and wishing that they were longer, because i loved learning about them (and listening to you be passionate about them). I love your video, i’m obsessed with architecture and interior design and building like a nerd is my guilty pleasure. I’m french and the french colonial made me chuckle because for me i’ts very americanized and no house or building look like this where i live 😅. I would love if one day you decide to do more european styles

I don't remember if I left it in this video, but in the stream I talked about how my first French colonial made a lot of French people quite upset because it didn't resemble French architecture. Because it's not 😅 it's American, started by French immigrants 300 or so years ago. I'm glad you're enjoying the videos, and I definitely hope to do some French French builds someday, not just American French.
