The thing that makes Thiago a world class player is the fact he’s always looking for the forward pass, even in the situations where most players would take the safe pass back to the keeper. No matter what he’s always looking to progress the ball forward. And that wide pass out to the full backs will be a deadly weapon for Liverpool, it won’t be long until Thiago can deliver a cross on a pinpoint to either Robertson or Trent for them to get in behind. Imagine how Curtis Jones is lucky to get such a role model. I'd assume he's got his motivation sky-rocketed and will be learning and fighting for a position in the midfield even more, despite Gini is still with us, and there are tons of options, doesn't matter. Judging from that performance, Thiago is already a Liverpool player in terms of understanding the game, which means only one thing - when he plays, there will be goals, always. I just don't see how he cannot find a way to create a chance for someone and leave the field. There will be chances all around, and all the players will need to be ready for those to come. Sometime ago, we considered Matip on a free transfer was the bargain of the decade. Thiago for 20m at his peak? Well, mate. You know what I mean.
