Welcome to the 3rd part of my retirement project to visit every town and village in the Peak District and Peak National Park...Cowdale and King Sterndale are very close to one another about a mile apart so I decided to make one vid on them both...I hope you enjoy my Music called Lorries and Quarries...Thanks for Watching and listening...Les.

@@NatureTheratree There was an Archaeological dig in the Parish of King Sterndale many years ago and the Pickford's were so annoyed at seeing the field getting dug, even though they gave permission they kicked the whole team off their land...The dig was Neolithic and Bronze Age and to this day I cannot find where they dug but I have a rough idea...would be brilliant if the dig was finished today but the Peak National Park has very strict guidelines...Cheers Dad❤
