Kaos is the best for sure, he has a one shot spamable ability (undead magic ability) I'd say golden queen is second not necessarily because of power but because of her ability to EASILY get all skils as a skylander cuz of her ability to make enemies drop so much gold

I've loved getting back into Skylanders I stopped playing when I was 12 because I got an Xbox and none of my stuff was compatible but now getting back into it has been so much fun. Problem is it's very hard to find figures in my area that are affordable.

after completing this game and the kaos challenge in nightmare I can safely say the most powerful skylander in this game is eons elite whirlwind. Uncontested dps. Absolutely tearing hoards of mobs apart. As far as trap masters go, gear shift is significantly better than wallop. Idk if id put him second because his ranged attacks are trash and melee is all but useless on nightmare imo but tierlist seems pretty ok. Knightmare has crazy high dps if you get a few hits going though. Shes very hard to use though.

All I really noticed from the Trap Masters is that they were just better Giants. Too many of their movesets left you open or focus on close range. Almost felt like they were designed to be tagged in with the Villains

I agree, in Hard mode, melee Trap Master do a lot of damage but will die pretty soon if you keep attack. Wallop is sometimes an exception since he defeats enemies really fast. Without the villains to swap with, I would be screwed 😂

Heck they even have the "only ---- can destroy this" and the "deals extra damage against bosses" Giants have, tho the extra damage is only in the 3DS versions for Giants for some reason...

Hardly EVER see any people rank skylanders based on Nightmare difficulty. Blastermind is also pretty good dps if you know how to use him, and no he is not useless against big beefy enemies.

The only pick here that I am SHOOKED by is lobstar. He is a great boss killer and has a very good get out of there attack. Top 5 IMO. Other than that I agree though.

lob star can struggle alot on regular fights sadly, due to him getting the dmg buff in bosses.. him without the buff does some pretty lackluster dps for a trapmaster, if he had more dps he would be way higher for sure

Pretty great list. I own 11 trap masters (12 because I actually have regular snap shot and dark snap shot) and I used all of them in the Kaos Doom Challenges. This is how I rank them for those: (Note: If you let the enemies destroy the Mystery Box of Doom and all your towers, then I can't guarentee your Trap Masters will survive, without the help of a Villain 😂. The doom challenges are tough) Trash: 11. Blastermind - He's the only trash Skylander on my list. has range, but low damage and is slow. Just awful. The only reason I got him was because I needed a Magic Trap Master (Enigma is expensive), and because he one shots lock puzzles. Decent: 10. Knight mare - just okay, I don't like using her much. I only got her cause she's Dark. Great: (I consider each of these guys absolutely worth it.) 9. Jawbreaker - Great Tech Trap Master. only close ranged abilities, but still fun to use. His design is also amazing. 8. Bushwack - Great Life Trap Master. Has a good mix of melee and range. 7. Wildfire - Also a good mix of melee and range. Great Fire Trap Master. 6. Snap Shot - Great range, decent melee. Great starter pack Skylander, great Water Trap Master. 5. Knight Light - Awesome Light Trap Master, awesome design. Both paths have some sort of teleport. Just amazing 4. Krypt King - I know the swarm path is better, but I went with the sword path because I enjoy his combos. A single combo would mow down just about any of the regular enemies. The stronger ones and the bosses are a challenge tho. Still I put him high because he used to be my favorite design wise. Great Undead Trap Master. 3. Gusto - His boomerang path is great. He can run around enemies and just keep throwing them, while other boomerages come to help him out. He's honestly great imo. I sometimes use his spinning attack to mow down weak enemies, but I dont really use his breath one. His other path turns him into a lightning ball, which is fitting for an Air Trap Master. But honestly, the Boomerang path is just as cool and does more damage. Godtier: 2. Wallop - He has to get in close, and doesnt have much speed. So that puts him in damage tho. Even then, he kills enemies REALLY FAST. A way better Earth Trap Master than Headrush. That being said, I rarely use his range attacks, but they are solid when I need them. 1. Gearshift - Where do I even begin? All of her abilities are constantly useful. Her main ability is her attack, her 2nd one swaps attack modes, and her 3rd is speed. She's INSANELY versatile. Her first attack mode is a gear that spins around her, hitting all enemies, so a pretty decent melee aoe. Her 2nd attack mode is 2 blades, which does stronger melee damage to enemies infront of her. Her 3rd attack mode, the ranged one, is the reason why she's godtier. You just roll away to safety and then start shooting at the enemies, mowing them down like crazy. She's insane! She is easily the strongest Trap Master in the game, and probably the strongest Skylander ever (if Imaginators didn't nerd previous Skylanders). She is just amazing. I had got Jawbreaker as my first Tech Trap Master, and managed to get 1 trap master for every element. But I had heard she was really good, and picked her up anyways. Both Jawbreaker and Gearshift are great tho, I don't regret getting either one of them.

@@Cloud_Breaker Krypt king is far too high, he is way to slow for nightmare mode, 2/3 of his attacks stop him from moving for at least brief periods and it's hard to avoid attacks with him because of the low speed.
