This is not a repost, just to be clear.
Pretty much every turrets versus the core, but it's remade so that every turrets could use their strongest ammo ang equipped with Cyrofluid. This is for those that wanted me to do this because of ammo imbalance in the previous video. The results are much more different surprisingly.

This was a little while ago but all these can be faster if you add MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE. Then don't forget that anything that uses surge alloy can have water added to the target to do even more damage.

It can be even faster if you use navanax with logic to support it. It can overdrive things to 300% when it shoots them. Which is more than overdrive dome AND boosted overdrive projector.

It's actually possible to use liquid turrets, u just need to use a turret with petroleum and another turret with slag

Why lancer spam isn't that bad: 1. Damage in a row(may hit 10 or more if attacking things like daggers) 2. Crawler can't outrun it if you make a choke point so they have to move directly towards your lancer, not sideways 3. With cryo their firerate can be pretty good 4. Looks good

Also no nova cheese as those and hails are basically the only early game things that can outrange them and hails are weak enough that novas can just get a few shots before healing or just run them down (unless they changed something in v7)

Arcs have almost 2 times more power use per tile, but it turns out arcs do better than the lancers

Instead of using a lot of expensive cryo for all the arcs, use water for about 1,8 times the damage with a liquid turret, and the problem with energy is solved

Let's also consider range. Everything is balanced around that. Also lancers aren't overused. While one mat be slower than 4 arcs, the range is higher. And 4 landers would shred

You should try salvo again with pyratite, it is faster than thorium (literally 1 second faster without booster)

I'm not sure if it because V7 is different, but pyratite salvo is actually stronger than thorium. Just tested it and it is confirmed. When used with no cryo against a core, pyratite salvo finished about 2 second faster. Thorium is now the worst ammo for spectre in term of single targer dps, graphite now only deal 50 damage, but is 70% faster, 170% of 50 is 85, so it deal more dps than thorium (verified), it does not have piercing tho. Pyratite is now the strongest ammo, dealing 70 direct plus an additional 20 area damage, result in 90, higher than thorium, and have the same piercing. The only advantage thorium has now is that it can be used directly from the drill.

in v7, the turret that has most dps is a swarmer, with surge ammo, cryo, and a dome it is able to reach over 4k damage per second, more if the target is wet

Cyclones are a lot better. Swarmer is weak against t5 if you dont give it water (Cyclone as well, but cyclone area damage is WAY MORE higher that swarmer)

The reasons you are against lancers are laughable. I agree they are overused. But I do not agree bc of your reasons. Expensive? I have no idea how you lack enough silicon to build just a few of these. A crawler could outrun it? Why would you design your defences so that would happen? That’s like saying a scatter is bad bc it died to ground units. And third; yes, other turrets could be stronger. But as the lancer only uses water, it doesn’t need conveyor belts. Yes they need some nodes, but saying that’s a major downside is childish. And you can’t deny that if the enemies walk in a straight line, then the lancer WILL take them with crowd control capabilities at a range
