People like to refer to Marxist-Leninist-Maoism as “State Capitalism” but in my opinion that is inherently an oxymoron. Capitalism requires the means of production to be privately owned, the closest thing to a state capitalist system would either be Authoritarian Capitalism (see Singapore) or Corpocracy (see Outer Worlds). MLM countries may strongly resemble the corporate bureaucracy, but that is simply because both serve the same economic functions.

You’re saying “democratic” a lot, but what you seem to mean by that is “liberal democratic” I.e. the established form of multi-party “democracy” under a capitalist system. The sorts of systems you are characterising as not being “democratic” are often *socialist democracies*. Instead of political parties being funded privately as part of what is essentially a market (see America most obviously), socialist democracies are focused on the people making collective decisions, often at a hyper-local level.
