Every VALIANT Omnibus Released So Far

One reason that the artwork is probably not larger is that when Acclaim bought them and they were going out of business the first time, they threw out all of the original film for those books. How do I know that? I worked at Valiant back in the day and I still knew people there when that happened. I'm guessing those omnibuses were made from scans from printed comics.

Big fan of the valiant universe but the original 90's stuff hasn't held up good against time still great reads between spawn, brigade, Youngblood and valiant that is my introduction into the comic world play the games like turok and shadowman and read the comics great review hope you enjoy

@@yusufal-muqtadir2494 in in terms of story very 90's I liked them when I was young but some just kinda end up Skimming through and the art just doesn't pop for me as much as that classic marvel DC art style still does maybe it's the way they were scanned just seem dark in contrast

I'm not sure how the rights work, but there is a new Turok ongoing, so it's possible

Probably not for Turok, because it's not a Valiant property. Solar, Magnus, Turok were licensed characters. Now they're being by Dynamite who holds the license. Shadowman and Eternal Warrior omnibus are possibilities as those are Valiant properties.

Man I hope bloodshot movie is going to be good like the comic. From the trailers it looks cool. Man these books are novels/encyclopedias lol. That would take me a month to read. Great review as always.👍

I love the Valiant stuff from way back. I’ve collected pretty much all of it since the relaunch (minus the variants). The older stuff is kind of hit and miss as reading goes. For instance, the first half of the A&A Omni is pretty good, while the second half is marginal and a bit disjointed in spots. I love the modern reboot stuff though. There is a wide variety of story types (humor, sci-fi, action, mystic) so you will like some more than others... but the level of quality is fairly consistent.

I have been reading in trades because of this channel and got blocked. I haven't been able to find 'Harbinger Volume 3: Harbinger Wars'. It is OOP and I've had my eye out for a copy that isn't $50 used..I found a reading order and read from the beginning of the Valiant reboot to this point. Sucks that Valiant prints in such low numbers that I am stuck because I can't find the book I need...

I agree the name X-O Manowar, doesn't have that push of a name to be recognized as a cool name for a character as supposed to Marvel's Machine Man, which the character looks a bit like the Bionic Commando character from the late 80's early '90's NES Nintedo game. However each of those character's seem cool looking from the art aspect of it, if given cooler names in respect to the current titles if the names were to be changed it would probably do well in sales. If I had to choose a name other than Machine Man it would be 'Soul Machine', which sounds better and cool.

God, it's like you're getting double borders, the borders of the original standard release and then second borders of the "oversized"... that hurts, man. Especially Archer n Armstrong with those black omni borders on top of the usual white borders... really creates the feeling of art being tiny. Not a fan of this at all.
