BO1 is most chilling at most nostalgic for me. BO2 have some "cool" vibe, yet still chilling. BO3 sounds like music for ancient tale, about heros and great event that happend long time ago... BO4 sounds like End. Literally the end of anything. Tragic, nostalgic, yet hope can be heared during this soundtrack. CW: Name of the soundtrack perfectly comes with soundtrack itself. It's whole new expirience, yet you can still hear good ol' Damned. End of the soundtrack is basically nostalgic trip.

I Love Call Of Duty Zombies. All Of It. I grew up on World at War. I met my friends on Black Ops 1. I found my passion in Black Ops 2. I fell for not just the game, but the story as well, on Black Ops 3, and felt the sweet sad song of goodbye in Black Ops 4 in my bones. Cold War has kept the fight and the hope alive. I love all of these games so much and their themes all give me such great feelings I can’t explain. This mode is too special.

Everyone is sleeping on Damned 4 and Echoes of the Damned. I know BO4 Zombies is looked down as one of the worst in the series, but personally the bittersweet ending and melancholy melody Aether had in that game was fitting and wonderful. I always had a feeling that Aether's ending wasn't going to be a Happy Ending and I was among those who hated Tag's ending at launch. But looking at how Treyarch suffered budget cuts and seeing Rizzo's Tag review and understanding the ending, it is flawed, yet bittersweet and beautiful.

Miss the days of getting off work at midnight on a Friday. Picking up a pizza and a case of tall boys. Getting on my Xbox and playing zombies with my friends til the sun came up. Especially BO1 zombies. Call of the Dead was by far my favorite map of all time. I remember one night. We were in a game for around 3 hours straight. We decided to take a break between rounds. My friends walked down to my house so we could all drink a beer, take some shots, and smoke some herbs. After about half an hour. We all got back on and kept playing. Literally within a minute of starting the round. One person goes down, then another. Then i go down trying to pick them up. Last guy ends up getting sandwiched on some stairs, and he goes down. We couldnt stop laughing at the fact that a 3 hour run ended within 2 minutes after coming back from a drink and smoke break.

You could say it's got a literal meaning to it, considering time goes on, the saga's pretty much over, our memories of the good old days left behind. Maybe I'm just getting old and more depressed, but I can't be the only one who thinks this. Despite everything, Treyarch's done a good job, a memorable saga. COD games haven't always been too engaging, the old ones being the best ones, zombies wasn't an exception, but at least for Zombies, even the new fit the old like a glove.

B02 feels more like the threat is understood, the big action is coming, and you know it won't be some super happy ending but it's all you got. B03 is getting to that grim ending, like the end is close and you know it's still got to get worse before it gets better, if it even can get better. Idk how to describe B04 other than it feels like "we don't even know what's right anymore, everything is bad, no good ending feels possible, and it ends with all of us dead or worse." CW's is actually pretty good, though I like the throwback to OG Damned towards the end more than anything. I think every theme captures the vibe if each game pretty perfectly though.
