Surrikun is what they're saying. They use it to say Thunderous, but there isn't a direct translation. It describes a loud booming noise. This is a clapback at their haters who often say their music is just loud and noisy. SKZ always turns criticism into their superpower. So they took traditional Korean instruments and 808s, sprinkle in some horns, thunder, and onomatopoeia and made a song out of literal noise and it's genius. Also, this is from their album No Easy, which sounds like Noisy. Genius

They do produce their own music, also write and compose it. I had the same reaction the first time I heard these 2 songs too. 7:39 long blond hair is Felix, he went through different colors before and since though he’s blond again now. Also at this time stamp is Changbin on the left (main rapper and lead producer) he was at the start of God’s Menu too. Bang Chan is in the middle (leader, he picked all the members to be part of the group since he was a trainee since he was 13 but at that time he was 20, also main producer, vocalist, rapper, dancer). 7:28 in the middle here is Hyunjin (main dancer, lead rapper, sub vocal). 7:52 singing here is Seungmin (main vocalist, sub rapper and dancer). 8:06 this is I.N aka Jeong-in (lead vocalist, also can rap and dance, maknae or baby of the group). 8:09 Lee Know (dance leader, main dancer, vocalist and rapper. You hear him doing a lot of vocals on songs). 9:32 lastly there’s HAN (the last of the 3 main producing team. He directs a lot of the vocals during production, also a main rapper with Changbin, lead vocal and dancer. He’s specifically known as an Ace or an allrounder because he is amazingly good at all of the aspects: writing, producing, rapping, vocalizing, and dancing. The whole group are aces though. They all have songwriting credits and can all dance, sing, and rap though each one does focus on an element or 2 more than the other. Stray Kids are big on the verbal and visual symbolism. Such as Changbin’s listing of birds (passing travelers, pigeons, magpies, and crows) where they’re likely depicting the wide audience of viewers: people who are just passing through, interested, and even the haters. Their music is so unique and they are always growing and changing their sounds that means that even if you step away you’ll come back to them because what they create will draw you in. Also each setting depicts their creativity (chefs), innovation (scientists), construction (self-producing), collaboration (race track out crew), and talent. They do a lot of word play like the Korean word for “welcome” can sound a little like shitshow and this mag or May not be a play on words. 😂 This is definitely “this is us and what we do. We won’t be ignored. Deal with it.” Also the fan base is called Stay because they’re inviting all fans who feel lost or astray to them and together we can find a home. In Thunderous, the “tui tui” is then spitting. So they’re spitting bars. And I think spitting is also supposed cancel out something unlucky. I think they get enough naysayers and haters (like they talk about in their lyrics) so I think the spitting is like cancelling out that noise, that negativity. Additionally the blue fire represents goblin fire from Korean folklore . And then they put in that part where they’re just laughing at the nonsense which gets me every time!! 😂. It’s Sori-kkun. It’s kind of phonetic so like Sorry with a long o and coon. It means Thunderous in Korean.

The synth sound in God’s Menu is like an alarm. I love that you going to the listen to the new stuff BUT there is a lot to go back through. Bang Chan, Changbin and Han aka 3racha has written and produced 90% of their music. They different.

lol the Du,Du,Du is the chopping sounds when the knife hits the cutting board when they are cooking up their music in the lab since they are self produced not gun shots. It does sound a bit like a flute but it's actually one of the traditional Korean instruments they used in their production alongside with heavy traditional drums. Really interesting mix, along with the car horns etc... Amazing! 3RACHA who is 3 of them producing their songs are geniuses. 😍
