He's not pure evil, he literally wants to be a hero for the villains, Dabi is the closest to being "Pure Evil" among the League. He IS irredeemable though and I agree with that point.

@ yeah I kind used “pure evil” loosely. I mainly say what he was going to do was pure evil, the destruction of all of Japan. His intentions are a lot more grounded

Shigaraki genuinely has one of the most tragic backstories of all time. Not even Doofensmirtz had it this bad. I also find it sad that even after all this time, he still desires to be a hero for the villains

Anybody notice that Kurogiri’s story in nearly identical to Obito’s story? - Both were in a team of 3 - Both had a friend who became the teacher of the main protagonist - Both got crushed trying to save people - Both gave an eye related gift to their friend (Kurogiri’s goggles and Obito’s sharingan) - Both got brought back by manipulative antagonists (All For One and Madara) - Both became masked villains, albeit for different reasons I may be missing a few details or got some of it wrong, but I think their backstories are pretty similar.

Toga’s parents are the sole reason for why the poor girl became a villain. It wasn’t her quirk. Toga could’ve well been a normal member of society had her parents not been the worst. Her upbringing and loveless family made her question emotions and feelings especially love. She loves blood but she never got to understand how contradictory actually hurting the ones you love in relation to blood is.

Toga's love for blood by sucking it out of creatures was wrong. She herself expressed this. *SPOILERS* When Toga died in order to save Uraraka, she said that she just loved blood in general, and may have expressed that by giving blood to others. I think you guys are a little insane to think that sucking blood from others is good.

In my school vr game, Photoius backstory is interesting (before becoming a demon, he was the son of Lady Nagant and went to UA for 5 years and even was a secondary spy for All for One at the time but unfortunately after Nagant betrayal to the Villains Muscular killed him and was sent to hell with His Quirk Genesis but after he found out he dropped the name Exacon for Photoius)

apparently, the reason for toga's crush on deku is because he looked like the boy she used to like so she only likes deku because he reminds her of her previous crush in terms of looks (and personality too i think) and wants to taste deku's blood like she did with her last crush. I can't remember if this was intentional or not but that's why he looks like deku 👍

Tenko has the saddest story, not only was his dad abusive, but also he would couldn’t even dream about being a hero, even after discovering his grandmother was one, but also was really sad and tragic is that his quirk accidentally killed his family and instead of helping him, his father struck him and killed him, and he felt relief that kind of psychological damage can do to a mind

I think that the backstory of some villains are actually their biggest weaknes. Because the whole strory around the LOV portrays them as Victims and these traumatars and misereable childhoods, are beeing used as an excuse for their crimes they commited. I mean its not bad to have a backstory for a illain it gives him more dept to his charactere, but MHA tries to give every villain a backstory and i think it ruined their character a lot. And please stop getting all emotional on them and tolerate what thei are doing, because in the end they are still the bad guys and not the good guys.
