yes, when a viper usually play post plant she uses her smoke that decays you. mollying the viper molly just kills you the same as the enemy viper molly.

This is why real Viper Mains use their orbs on the spike post play to decay. Instant kill from snake bite. So this only counters someone like Brim who has no decay but brims molly is longer so idk not a brim main.

it does work for brim’s molly, but it lasts for so long that it’ll kill you anyway, even with the reduced damage.

I use viper too. This counter molly will only work if there is no poison cloud on it. Viper's molly is not the same as BRIM, Phoenix, Kayo and killjoy. You really need to use poison cloud on the bomb to have a successful line up for viper.

I really do think it's really really bad if you always do this trick. To begin with, the use of Snake Bite is for it's double damage properties (vulnerable status) and lethality. The damage of Snake Bite is really neglectable and that is precisely why people would combo it with Poison Cloud (Viper's smoke), Poison Cloud deals way more damage than Snake Bite but it can't kill. When you do this trick, you will still get the vulnerable status and people still can kill you with 2 body shots of rifle, and you will still die if enemy's Viper combo it with her Poison Cloud.
