@@nenish I hate how people just neglect those flaws of Verdansk are just blinded by nostalgia, map was cool until you got to downtown or Airport but I think if it had better lighting and the new redeploy balloons it would flow a lot better. I'm just hoping with them adding back Verdansk (and if it's day 1 MW19's version) that people will remember how bad it truly was at times.

Verdansk was perfect and if you didnt know how to rotate then that was on you and if you didn’t like the graphics change your settings i was on an XBOX ONE S and had a perfect time despite the so called flaws

I love Ashika especially wen u dropped in during wz2 season 2 the soundtrack was amazing. Al Mazrah wasnt really a good map for wz but it is good for DMZ. Also i kinda felt a little safe in Ashika due to the poor visibility which limited snipers. Vondel is basically go on top of a building, get AR and sniper, camp to kill, wait for loadout, camp loadout, get loadout with thermal scope, camp on top of building again

I don’t understand Caldera hate. The map itself was dope and I think everyone hated it because of how poor the state of the game was when it released. The planes also were fun af I loved getting pushed by a team and making it to a plane and dipping tf out of there lol.

Almazra and fortunes keep are my favorite Warzone 2 is where I really started excelling when I got a ps5. I went from not being able too get a kill too wiping a platoon in the solo team resurgence. Some of the best times of my life.

I remember hating the guts out of Fortunes keep Version 1 on Warzone 1! But remember when rebirth was taken out that way fortunes keep got playability! So all I had to play was fortunes keep! Turns out I absolutely love fortunes keep! The layers of the map, the aesthetic of the map! Fortunes keep is definitely one of my favorite maps because I got so good with the layout, I had so many wins! Id do anything to go back playing warzone 1 again ❤

Ashika island had the most versatility when compared to any other map. Ashika in terms of gameplay was fantastic, but for the non competitive players it lacked color and vibrancy.

I think the 84 version of it was the best warzone map we've had. My only gripe with this video is that: I disagree with some takes you have with the refresh of fortunes keep, the whole underground is nice at first but plays badly in execution with end games and fluidity. I understand putting Ashika & Vondel down due to the map pools BUT Vondel at least is better designed than the newly refreshed fortunes keep. I like ashika but the underground needs some work

Here's my list, totally subjective: 8. Caldera Not that I hate the map but it doesn't even compete with the newer BR maps, and it will NEVER be anywhere close to Verdansk. What I really like of this map it's Military 7. Vondel I like this map but only in certain moments and matches. Rooftop campers dominate the battlefield, and sometimes is almost impossible to counter them. Apart from that, good design and an all-urban style, which is unique. 6. Urzikstan Much like Vondel this map has a great design but a little poor gameplay, far better than Caldera obviously, but I feel that pace gets kinda slow when in the middle of the matches. 5. Ashika Island Much better than Vondel, but for me it cannot really compete with Fortune's and Rebirth. Yeah, it has a really bad visibility, but to me the layout and theme (located in Japan) makes it greater than Vondel. 4. Rebirth Island Yeah, I know. It can be surprising for a lot of people to see this map in this rank in particular, but it's not that the map isn't great. I mean, it is the most fucking iconic WZ map that have ever been. But Fortune's as a Resurgence map it's just better for me, I can't really explain it. Size? Design? Pace? Maybe all of that combined, but Rebirth it's not the best resurgence or WZ map ever. 3. Al Mazrah If it wasn't for Verdansk, Al Mazrah to me would definetely be the all time best WZ BR map ever. I really love it, and as you said it, visibility is great in this map. It has really good POI's like Al Mazrah City, Hydro, Sarrif Bay and Sa'Id City, the colors are on point, and the desertic ambient it's freaking awesome to me personally. I hope that someday it could come back with better movement mechanics and innovations. 2. Fortune's Keep The best Resurgence map ever. Period. With its first version and the latest it's just unbeatable to me. Design, POI's, pace, layout, illumination, all of it. It's fucking godly. 1. Verdansk I won't say too much about the good old Verdansk. Neither the newer BR maps nor any Resurgence map will top this map. The best BR map in history, not only in WZ history, but in all videogaming history (yeah, even better than any Fortnite map, PUBG, Apex, etc). Verdansk is the absolute GOAT.

Honestly and controversially, i enjoyed Caldera during the vanguard Era, i didnt own the game but i definitely played the warzone during the the time where i mostly played Cold War, so i would replace Al-Mazra with Caldera just because i didnt really play Al-mazrah, if at all, Caldera for me, was a good map, Mainly because im a Ww2 Fanatic, and im guilty of flying the planes because it was fun to make people mad in a game. and its an opinion, i hated Al-Mazrah cause it just honestly felt like a big knock off of Sandstorm Insurgency, and i would definitely change 1 and 2, so my top 3 being Caldera, Rebirth, and Verdansk with Urkizstan coming in fourth and Ashika coming in 5th,
