honestly, the real issue with apc is that it can surprise anyone when they least expect it, so you don't get a chance to react

I once saw someone use Scales of Horror on a Road Roller and when they teleported behind the attacker, the attacker flew away like they were hit by the road roller All the three of us were confused (The attacker, the one who countered, and me who was about to nuke then XD)

yup! when you pet maxwell, there’s a few frames when you parry the attack and do a buncha damage to the attacker. i didn’t know it worked against ranged attacks tho!
