although all big cubes may have extremely similar solving principles, each of them from 4-7 are extremely different. 4 is so simple that edges are paired in a different way, 5 is still simple enough that there are only a couple ways to make centers. But on 6 there are so many more ways to make centers, like with 2x4 blocks, and there are many ways to make 2x4 blocks. 6x6 also has harder lookahead, and you start to rely on preserving things in centers, and not fully solving edges individually. 7x7 has this but lookahead becomes even harder, and there are even more ways to make 2x5s.

No FMC 🤔 For anyone curious it’s typically something along this (sparing some details): 1. Make EO (edge orientation) so the cube can be solved with U, D, R, L, F2, B2 moves 2. Make DR (domino reduction) so the cube can be solved in U, D, R2, L2, F2, B2 moves. The cube looks like a sandwich when you do this 🥪 3. Make HTR (half turn reduction) so the cube can be solved with only half moves 4. Solve the cube !!! There’s various triggers to learn this method, and it’s what top solvers use to find sub-25 solutions nearly every solve

Lucky how you didn't had parity on your 4x4 nor 6x6 solves. Although I'm not speedcuber (yet), I honestly enjoy solving the 5x5 and 7x7 a lot more than the 4x4 and 6x6 due to the lack of parity cases after reduction. 😅 And I stopped back in 2019 and only returned this month, so I wasn't even aware 4x4 and 5x5 blind-solved are now WCA events. Pretty cool tbh. :D Btw, you forgot about the 3x3 multi blind and 3x3 Fewest Moves events. :)
