I agree, in volume 1 ruby was 15, in 7 she is 17, with her birthday the last of the four and in the fall, they’ve been teammates for the better part of two years ignoring the time they spent separated in volume 4 and 5 (which I’m going to be honest seemed like half a year maybe a couple months more given fall of beacon was during the fall and RNJR set out during winter at start of volume 4

In what way has Yang been a good sister post volume 5? If you meant that Yang, then yeah, but since volume 6, doesn't care about her all that much compared to Blake. In the Apathy episode, she takes Blake's hand and runs out, leaving her short, baby sister to escort their drunk uncle away from the Grimm from a burning building. I'll never understand why she did that, since Blake wasn't hurt or needed any hep to get out. Doesn't seem sisterly to me. She doesn't join in with Ruby and Qrow's talk about Summer even though she knows Summer better than Ruby does and Summer would equally be proud of Yang since she raised her when Raven abandoned her. Even when Ruby was having her breakdown, why did it take so damn long for her to respond? Why isn't she yelling at Salem? Why does she not react when learning that the woman who killed her mother is right in front of her, going out of her way to torment her baby sister? Hell, in this Volume, she was more concerned about what Blake thought about her than Ruby despite having an argument that divided the group. Ruby could die and Yang only cares about Blake. Not exactly big sistwr material to me.

I've been a WhiteRose shipper since volume one, but 95% of these are just scenes where both Weiss and Ruby are present together. Don't force things that aren't there, lol. If the writers want them pairing up they'll write it in. God knows they did it with Yang and Blake, and that ship was actually boring. Ruby and Weiss have a much more dynamic relationship and I wish they would have made them canon instead of Yang and Blake.

I'm a fan of RoseGarden becoming canon but only if it's JUST Ruby and Oscar. Like, if Oscar assimilated Ozpin/Ozma rather than Ozpin/Ozma assimilating Oscar or continuing to chill as a third party... because otherwise they're just going to have a perma-chaperone and/or Ruby will be more with Ozpin/Ozma than Oscar and that would just be... really super weird.
