My biggest gripes with the X Digimon are the designs. Most have too many spikes, can't work logically aka moving/fighting or are bizarre as hell. Some are pretty cool though like Tyranomon or Leomon. Ironically the Digimon X vpet is my favorite.

Yeah good point about the spikes and movement restrictions. I know little about character design but what I do know from my friends who design is that a big rookie mistake is adding elements that wouldn’t be practical in motion

@@thedigiknow True. From what I remember different artists made some of them, so some of them have the artists' unique touch. The whole concept of different versions is nice though like how Agumon X is a dinosaur, instead of a reptile thus more likely to evolve into a dinosaur Digimon instead of any other Adult/Champion Digimon, etc. Lots of twist, especially Vamdemon aka Myotismon, really bizarre.🤨

Whenever I think about X-Anitbodies I think back to the X-Evolution movie scene in which WarGreymon X used Poseidon Force by pulling water from the lake unlike a regular WarGreymon using Gaia/Terra Force.

Tail/ gatomon has some of the best X forms ! Especially Ophanimon X ! I love the wings and the wheels on her. And fall down mode has the wheels turn into her scythe and projectiles. It’s so badass

in my opinion few of the X-Digimon are actually really good, mostly I like those who are X-Antibody carriers, but are not simply X-Antibody variants of the original, but I do really like how they handle re-color digimon as not just recolors, like how Leomon seems Berserk inspired with a cape and oversized sword, but Panjiyamon has an ice staff.

Some random fact you might not know Sakuyamon x had to be redesign as the first time the artist did her she wasn't ''sexy enough'' You also forgot megidramon X which look similar yet very very different form it's original. My favorite X is examon X just due to a simple fact unlike other X antibody Is body it self doesn't change and instead it's the wings he has grow over him and make a suit of armor even the arms are is wings has is normals hands act has shoulder pads.

Thanks for still doing content in the drought! My favorite X-antibody is either Pegasusmon X or the Cherubimon forms. I love Magnamon, but the X antibody takes away from its elegant design imo which really benefits from being simple.

I'm not usually a fan of X-Antibody forms, but I do like that MetalGarurumon X is a bipedal variant, and I like Angewomon X's new outfit. The more I look at HerculesKabuterimon X, the more I love how humanoid it is. I'll admit I'm not a big fan of WarGreymon X, BlackWarGreymon X, Omnimon X, Cyberdramon X, or Beelzemon X because you can't improve on perfection; like, the designs are already flawless, so the X-Antibody forms just feel like gilding the proverbial rose. The thing that always stands out to me about the Guilmon X line is that they don't have the Digital Hazard. Overall, I'm trying to give X-Antibody forms a fairer shake than I have in the past.

I'm on a toss up with the X-Antibody redesigning. For some of them, like the female body digimon, they sometimes take it to the extreme fan service. May sound like a complaint, but I'm just pointing out that too much fan service feels like a take away from digimon. Though the same can be said about the gundam looking ones; however I would that the more 'mechanize' look is a bit closer to lore. An adaptation to the virus program that the super computer launched to wipe out over 90% of the digimon population.

From the atwork from X Record, the thing that strikes me is all the X Antibody variants have these pronounced, enlongated features, like claws and teeth. And they all look quite feral and/or ferocious, much more than their originals. Anything with armor look almost like a robot/transformer 🤣

A small correction, Metalgreymon X and WereGarurumon X were created earlier than the 2020 anime variants, so it was actually Alterious mode and Sagittarius mode that were inspired by the X forms.

For me, my favorite X-Antibody depends on the category. Like, in terms of "coolness" for instances, I'd have to go for Chaosdramon X-Antibody because it's pretty much what Chaosdramon should have been to begin with IMO, without being overly excessive or anything. In terms of "cuteness," I'd definitely have to give it to Monzaemon X-Antibody who's definitely a complete break from most other Antibody Digimon and definitely overdoes on sugar, spice, and everything nice and how that both works with Monzaemon in general and makes it stand out from other X-Antibody Digimon in general makes it a real standout for me. And for something completely random, I also really like Scorpiomon X, due to the X-Antibody making it all rainbow-colored, which is pretty nifty IMO. But yeah, definitely wish more of them would show up in the anime, and that we had better art of a lot of them, because so many of them have wonderful designs and I'd love to have a better look at them!

For me the x-antibody are hit and miss for me. I find the first batch that came out in 2003ish to be not very good as the ones that came in 2019ish. My least favorite are Magnadramon X and Mega Seadramon X. My favorites are Kerbymon Virtue X and Cyberdramon X. I think the armor variants aside from Magnamon and Rapidmon Armor should have been classified as ultimates because of their designs. OmniShoutmon X reminds me of the transformers Bumblebee. I would love to see more and I am looking forward to the card versions of the other x digimon. The new card game has done wonders for these digimon.

In my opinion a lot of X antibody designs could use some reworks, a lot are just very pointy or edgy looking. Others don't change enough almost like getting a metalic coat put over them. Others I really like. I wish we got an anime focusing on these forms of digimon and how it affects them in battle and such.
