Tyler, you have been misusing the term love bombing. I remember you said you didn't know what that meant in a previous episode and someone in the group tried to explain it, but it's been explained wrong. No love bomber would freely admit to love bombing lol Based on your definition, you ascribe to love bombing as just moving quickly in a relationship, wanting to spend a lot of time together and falling in love quickly. That is not love bombing though. Love bombing is a MANIPULATION tactic used by abusers and narcissists. It's characterized by excessive affection, attention, admiration to make your partner feel dependent and obligated to you. And once the person fully trusts that partner (as you have been over affirming and validating), that is when the love bomber will flip a switch to control you, make you feel indebted to your partner, and eventually tearing you down. It's a way to control you and feel obligated to stay in the relationship with your abuser. So unless you are admitting to the above... I don't think you or your friends are using the term, love bombing, correctly.

Agree. I have been through the love bombing by a covert narcissist. It was hard to believe when I read up that the narcissist was a textbook narcissist, didn't skip any of the steps of the narcissistic behaviour pattern. Am glad it's over though(for me). .sigh...phew!!

Tyler, lol, if employers tell you that you’re over qualified, you are. 😂 We try to find the right person for positions & sometimes people should be applying for higher level jobs that pay more. From the employer’s side of things, we are skeptical of training a person & then the person leaving as soon as something better comes along. It’s costly for the company.
