I loved the friendship Chris and Doc had, it feels like Doc kinds took the role to be a grandfather figure to Chris after Chris grandpa died

I really enjoyed Docs character he was never mad at Chris and treated him fairly. When Chris burnt the Mac and cheese on thanksgiving doc came to his rescue, and when Chris’s grandfather died he had a game at the store for him. He was more concerned for Chris’s safety when he was robbed and when Chris revealed who robbed the store he rehired him almost instantly, he really was someone Chris could rely on what with his family often being busy

I like to believe They didn't rework his character and that was actually just a really bad first impression Chirs had with Doc, We all gone through that in our lifes meeting someone we think is strange or weird that eventually you grow to know better and be friends with

You know I really like Doc, because to me he seems like a grandfather figure to Chris, even if he's kind of a pimp, the way he's saying that he'd rather be robbed, then have Chris shot, that's got to show true, Affection toward him, maybe it's because doc never had any kids, At least any kids that we know of, And that's why he views Chris, as maybe he's grandson or such.
