I saw this and thought “oh these guys, the ones that did that great Seals and Crofts cover” The vocal is always going to be a feature of this song, no exception here. Just magic. The band is phenomenal, you know when to stick with the original and when to add your own flavour which really transforms the piece as a whole into an amazing interpretation that you can call your own.

This is the first time Im hearing this song ever. Im gonna have to listen to the original, but damn, this song is so sultry. Dusty's vocals are just magic. I have never listened to a single Jeff Buckley song and i wouldn't say i was a fan of funk or many of the other styles that these guys play but every single one of the musicians is at the top of their game particularly James, Con, Darren and all the singers. So very true! Dusty always dis[lays his vocal chops with great skill, but Im not sure whether people realise how difficult it is to sing this song; the constant switching between a normal voice and his falsetto. The control required is something else. He does it flawlessly. This version of the song is on my favourites play list, not only because the song is so bloody cool, but Dusty does it so fantastically well.

I don't know why but Ive only just found this clip. F**k this is tremendous. I don't know the original , so given the raw song , for mine this is a really sensitive reading - wonderful vocals on top of unquestionable rhythmic restraint. Mario and Con you are obviously in the same zone (not just on this tune either) and Steve, so on point ; the guitar sound from the fingers is fantastic and Darran a very good mix.
