I'm trying out lee sin with stride breaker and I'm currently on a 3 winstreak with it. (2 jungle and 1 mid) It's basically a all or nothing build. So if you q in then stride break to slow many people then u can easily choose who to kick. BUT I don't always kick the carry, for example they have sett, I kick sett and because the rest of his team are now slowed, my team can just follow me up. Doesn't work everytime, but because I duo with a twitch player, it's really juicy.

I think that Riot needs to look into kill Experience vs minion experience as well as minion hp, wave clear and control to try to strengthen the mage class. It seems like wave control provides minimal reward compared to coinflip roaming and getting early kills. Which is greatly benefiting the assassin, skirmishing classes you see midlane.

I think a good way to get midlane mages back in the meta would be to slightly nerf kill gold and possibly buff kill participation gold. Midlane mages are usually great at waveclearing and supporting the team but not all around solo killers. If kill gold is nerf then the waveclearing mages and support mages will be able to compete more. They could also nerf turret defenses for turret plates specifically when enemies are not near their turrets.

Midlane Mages are more than meta now aren’t they? Viktor just shitting on everyone, and in pro play the scaling mages are super high priority. I think main problem with mid is these champions not only have the mobility but better early wave clear than mages while also being able to have insane sustain either through their kit or fleet + second wind + dshield meaning mages cannot contest the wave at all or get any meaningful poke onto these champions and typically mages lose trades against these champions, also not to mention the lack of resource, use of energy or low mana costs on some of these champions mages cannot keep up without running oom really fast.

I'd say a good step to bring back mages into the game would be to bring back Seraph's shield. The moment they removed the shield mages with no mobility got a whole lot easier to just dive in, and after all the nerfs to Zhonya's it's like mages don't have good defensive items anymore.

The mages mid is too hard to play half the matches now. The biggest hurt to me is that these items out now for the mages have such low ap power. You can buy 3-4 items and ur still under 500 ap like wth???? All the heavy ap items got nerfed/ reworked, or retired. In some games I feel like getting the horizon just for the ap of it being over 100+. 😹 guess riots wants it to be the ad assassins/ bruiser tank meta. All these new items released for split pushers and no ap 😂😂😂 The ori and syndra kinda dead this season. The liandry and all these meta burn ap items. Don’t scale hard in ap power. More of a favor to the brands and zyra and stuff. I like how they diversified the jungle but I hope they can do something for the mid lane.

I disagree about Stridebreaker. With the extra stats and the 90% slow combined with your E slow, I think the new Stidebreaker is a lot better. You don’t need that much more mobility on Lee, so the extra damage and slow just makes Lee more oppressive.
