Great job,as usual, Emily! This is a particularly nice song choice with a tasty solo. Steelheart should have been much bigger than they ended up being, but they were kind of late to the party. It's not their fault, they were just entering an oversaturated market by 1990. One that was about to crash, unfortunately. That doesn't diminish their quality in any way and thank goodness that they can still find new fans, thanks to people like you. There are some great but mostly forgotten bands that arrived at the tail end of the "hair metal" era and it's cool you gave one the spotlight on your channel. Keep up the great work, Emily! P.S. if I may be so bold, you should check out the debut album from Enuff ZNuff. Killer stuff! 😎

Wonderful! I always felt this great band was struck with bad timing and tragedy. If their debut album was released in 1985 they certainly would have achieved even greater commercial success. And, by the time Matijevic had his accident in ‘92, the record company would have held on to them a little longer…IMO.
