Takahiro Omori was the second Japanese student to enroll in Appalachian Studies at Appalachian State University. He came first to App State to study as an undergraduate. He loved Sustainable Development because he's a fanatic of outdoor living.
In Part Two of “Everybody Loves Maako” podcast, I asked Taka and Maako, via Messenger, about their experiences in the master's degree program of the Center for Appalachian Studies. They also refer to the "Dark Side" of Appalachia.
This video was edited in Adobe Rush and the audio was edited in Adobe Audition. The images are a sample of the experiences that graduate students have during their classes, b-roll that wasn't used in the documentary, and others of the Appalachian Mountains.
