My same thought! I feel like "it's all been done", but hope springs eternal! I know so many people knock the laugh-track and yes, it can get absurd on some shows, but I always enjoyed it, especially when live.

I believe one of the funniest episodes is the one with the frog lady. Lol. I get a good laugh every single time I watch it.

This show has gotten me through so much and I still watch it to this day time and time again and I never get sick of it. I know most people prefer Friends and call that the best sitcom and I also really enjoy watching friends but I never have it on repeat as much as I do with ELR.

So true ..i like alot of different shows...friends, Seinfeld, king of q The office....but something about ELR is so endearing, charming and hilarious even the episodes that weren't their best were still so good...

I love the one with the fire in the kitchen and the garden hose. The audience reaction was something ive never seen or heard and you just cant duplicate something like that❤

ELR has gotten better, and more funnier with age since the show ended in 2005. It's just too bad that they don't make good comedy shows like this on TV anymore.

Never understood why people were so hard on Romano, even himself. They say they never heard of him, he's not handsome, he's not an actor, he's not funny, no one would kiss him etc. Patricia once said in an interview when she saw him she thought, "What is that?" I remember watching Romano many times as a comedian. Brad was also a stand-up. I can't believe he never heard of him. I also can't believe no one would kiss him when the scene calls for it. I think he's funny, handsome, a great actor, etc. I know all the ribbing is supposedly in good fun but it's a bit over-the-top. I believe they think there's some truth to it.

One must remember, the Family sketches on Carol Burnett opened the door for this show to enter, along with Mama's Family. It was time for a show to really dig into a family's psychology with a demonic sort of mother.

She died from a stroke Sawyer Sweeten (Geoffrey Barone): Sawyer Sweeten, one of the twins who played Ray's son Geoffrey, tragically died by suicide on April 23, 2015, at the young age of 19 Georgia Engel (Pat MacDougall): Georgia Engel, who played Amy's sweet-natured mother Pat, passed away on April 12, 2019, at the age of 70 Albert Romano (Albert): Albert Romano, Ray Romano's real-life father who appeared in four episodes as Frank's friend Albert, died on March 11, 2010, at the age of 84 Max Rosenthal: Max Rosenthal, the father of series co-creator Phil Rosenthal, who appeared as Max (another friend of Frank's), died on June 26, 2021, at the age of 95 Thanks for letting us into your homes.
