High level gameplay is just vanish wars, super counters, and the same combo into ground slam and repeat. That isn’t fun. They need to add quick casual matches like Jump Force had. I disagreed with a dude a week or so ago that said Jump Force was better and after playing rank some more I totally agree. Jump force mechanically was worse, but the game was way more fun to play than this game. Can’t even have fun playing the computers because it’s just a super counter fest. And the fan base can’t accept logical criticism. Hopefully Bandai listens to the people who wanna have FUN and not the sweats.

I doubt y'all will ever see this but the things that genuinely helped me fight the cheese: - If someone is spamming instant sparking ultimates, Quick ascend/Descend will save you from the cheese, same with broly ki blast spam in sparking. -Hard counter to Z-Burst Dash is to dodge sideways as soon as you see them use it, generally I dodge as the dash curves since they're about to swing behind me, works 90% of the time and gets you behind them. - If you knock someone down and their feet are facing you, don't go for a throw - dodge forwards then sideways and you'll be behind them on wake up, way better combos off that (unless you have an ultimate you wanna use ofc). Mark seems pretty good at super counters too honestly, so you can also use that instead of vanishing on occasion in a vanish war (unless you can do it consistently) as it will save you ki and throw off the opponents rhythm. Hope it makes your gameplay more enjoyable, helped me feel a bit more useful. Still don't know how to beat afterimage strike though.
