This song rythm is so special because it has 3 hi-hat strokes for every snare drum stroke, combining with bass drum strokes...that is very, very dificult to play without error, so congratulations and respect. It´s the only example I know of 3/4 in pop music.

The song is in 12/8. The hi hat is just 1/4 note triplets that start on the 2nd 1/8th of count 1.
