I currently carry a knife, wallet, lighter, chapstick, flashlight, keys, AirPods, phone, a commemorative coin in my fifth pocket and my watch. I Recently removed my small moleskin notebook, fisher space pen and my prybar because I wasn’t using them as often as I’d like. I put them in my alpaka pouch with my multitool and a bunch of other gear that I take with me in my truck when I head out for day trips. Every once in a while it’s nice to asses what you’re using and slim it down if you’re able to. Great video, thanks!

We have two different set up for our EDC. We have an Urban EDC & when visiting our parents in a rural area, our EDC tends to be more of a Survival EDC. Nothing special but all of our EDC items are heavily mod to suit requirements & functionality. You have a nice collection of knives & flashlights etc We're not collectors, we're users, all tools are used to the max. We learned the art of awareness from the best, our Mum & Dad. Cheers from Australia.

Hello, EDC (Enjoyable, Descriptive, Concise)! I always have lights, knife, pens and paper. The motto of the Scouts "Be Prepared" goes a long way... Keep up the good work and vids. Be safe and take care, "God Bless", sincerely, Randy. 😇🙏👊

Just wanted to say i love the new videos and the new direction you're going with the channel. Here's what's in my EDC: phone, wallet, keys (with small flashlight and small pen), pocket knife, flashlight, notebook, pen, watch, and some days a victorinox swiss army knife. Great video!

Thanks man. Really really appreciate that. And your EDC looks quite solid. Are you happy with it?

My on person EDC is my keychain (keys + whistle) in my right pocket, a Victorinox belt pouch with a tinker, a Niteize doohickey (original model) and a pre-threaded sewing needle sealed in a straw, no phone + no wallet (everything loose in my pockets). In the front compartment of my backpack I have a ‘stuck outdoors overnight in bad weather’ survival kit which Is called the ‘OLOK psk’ (One Litre, One Kilo) which is the biggest and heaviest that I will comfortably EDC, it’ mostly shelter & first aid oriented.

Thanks for the video. It's easy to get lost in gear and gadgets and going back to the basics is very helpful. I've carried stuff before too and end up asking myself, "for what?," when I go through my EDC lol.

The "where" I'm EDC'ing also plays a big factor in my case. When I was living in Europe, I had to make do with a Victorinox pioneer X as my "carry" and a leatherman skeletool in the bag for pliers if needed. Folding knives and blades in general were frowned upon and were also illegal depending on the country. Back home in India, the laws are significantly more relaxed than Europe and I can carry my leatherman on person and complement it with a small fixed blade like tops street scalpel or crkt minimalist. Somehow my spell in Europe has discouraged me from using folders and I stick to a combo of multitool, Swiss army knife and fixed blade for most days. Pen (simple metallic parker), an affordable flashlight with AA compatibility (right now I'm using Acebeam pokelit) are also essential. Wallet, lighter, notebook, watch and mobile phone round up my EDC. Most used tools - phone, flashlight, fixed blade, Skeltool CX for most tasks, Victorinox rambler on the keychain for personal grooming while on the road 😅

Great video! To me it’s more of a DLC - Daily Legal Carry - as my pocket contents are subject to change at airports, secure buildings, etc.

That’s a cool way to think about it.

I do like having just a couple pocket organizers. One is my true edc and the other is a kit that "should"get through any security.

A good option for beginner EDC is the Streamlight 88061 ProTac 1L-1AA 350-Lumen Dual Fuel flashlight. Simple to operate and carry and can use three different types of batteries 🔋.

I have been carrying the same knife for 35 years, a Victorinox Fieldmaster. It does everything you need for everyday life. In addition i carry a couple of different knives in different jackets. For my work a folding rescue knife in my lower sleeve pocket behind a zipper, in the woods i wear a smock with a Mora companion in one of the zipper pockets and so on. The knife laws here prohibit the open carrying of fixed blades and some local laws even a folder. So none of my blades are visible even my EDC knife is on my keychain in my pants pocket. That chain is set up like we called in the army an administrative chord, earplugs, knife and so on. My work bag has a light and a heavy multi tool, in my wallet i have an old gas station card with ducttape around it i use a lot for small emergency fixes. Plus i have a small screwdriver meant for fixing eyeglasses attached to the zipper of my wallet. I like the video enjoy your Sunday and God bless you.

My edc is kind of a 2 part system, because of what I do. So I have my on body carry which is phone, watch, keys, knife, multitool, ear pods, wallet, flashlight, and CCW. Now I am currently a delivery driver who is in school to be an OTR driver, so my backpack is my most used way of carry on most days. In my bag always I have my gym clothes(in the process of weight loss), a towel, toiletries, pens/pencils/markers for invoicing, coffee tumbler, thermos, water bottle, jacket for the colder months, phone/communication accessories, and medical for not only me but others. I also ride a motorcycle to work some days as well, so I have my jacket and helmet either attached to my bag or on the passenger seat of my truck. Aside from that the only other thing I bring is my lunch box and thermos because I drink more coffee than any human should probably consume daily lol.

I work from home 99% of the time, so my EDC is the same as it is when I'm anywhere else. Phone, wallet, keys, multi tool, flashlight, fountain pen, pocket notebook. The 1% of the time when I'm in the office, it's that plus my work bag, which has my computer, computer and phone chargers, power bank, portfolio organizer, flash drive, another notebook, and pens and pencils.

House/ car keys with mini torch, leatherman squirt (tiny blade and pliers covers almost every day tasks ) none of us are tasked with cutting down trees . Heavy duty kitchen roll sheets for that emergency situation.
@EverydayTacticalVids7 ай бұрын
Can you explain more. What are kitchen roll sheets?
@robduncan5997 ай бұрын
@@EverydayTacticalVids Sure as a kid (I'm 61) i used to be kitted out with a cotton handkerchief. Nowadays I use a square of kitchen roll, inside I carry coins to save them rolling around. Obviously use as a hanky, or if caught short on a outdoor adventure when needs must at least you got something. Other uses , should the worst happen and slice open a leg you got something to patch up the wound. I wouldn't leave home without a few squairs of heave kitchen roll.

You know cuz it's kind of hard to cut a bologna sandwich with a gun.

I think you should consider for intro , more readily accessible items, not the designer, community oriented brands. Like stuff you can easily pick up at common stores, dollar stores, wally world, gas stations, even at grocery stores , ace hardware, tractor supply, salvation army, stores that are everywhere.

Good day! I don't mean to be rude but given that I understand you have some concern about the views and growth of you channel...I do suggest you try to check how youtubers do lighting and camera work in their "office/studio" videos. I think lighting in particular (the first part of the video) seems to be not very contemporary/up to date for this video or maybe it's just the editing. The content is great...I think just a bit more effort to the video production would really elevate your content! Cheers!
@sda4jesus17 ай бұрын
Yes, the lighting problem was immediately apparent.
