These crosses are beautiful. I am very glad I came across this video. I will be making some of these for Christmas this year (2024) I see that most of the comments are from 4 years ago, but as they say, better late than never. 🙂 Thank you for leaving this video on here to share with us. I actually just bought some bamboo clothespins that are larger than the normal ones for this reason. I think they will also look great being a bit bigger in size. Thanks again. ✝️🙂

Hi 👋 I have been looking to buy some crosses for the wall hanging and outside in the garden. But they are so expensive 😫 I'm a stay at home dad looking after my two daughters and my wife works. I found you videos last night and it looks easy enough even for me to do with clothes pins. So I'm going out to buy pins in a moment and make some. Thank you for you very informative slow enough for me do the same. And I have subscribed and thumbs-up 👍 it just fantastic 👏 thank you we will be doing crafts today. 😃

Thank you so much! I made a really pretty cross out of ceramic coasters, but you could find some sealed tiles at home improvement stores that would work really well outside too 😄 kzbin.info/www/bejne/h5SmgHSZoJiBabs

I love this. I am thinking of doing this as a craft for Church Camp. I am considering using colored clothes pins for mine. Less mess since we will be out in the woods. Also I am going to pre assemble most of this because of time. I like the shorter cross as well as the longer. Might do the shorter for camp. I am also considering colored craft sticks to put in the middle. Glue them on the back and it would make it pretty. It is pretty as is too.

Amber, I will save this video with all of my other ThisSGC videos of things I want to make. I love that you take your time in showing some of us slowpokes how to make great diys. Your sense of humor and southern accent always make your channel so enjoyable to watch. I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year. I pray The Lord bless thee, and keep thee: The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious into thee: The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. Numbers. 6: 24-26

I love this. My pastor and his family just bought their first home and I may have to make them one. I don't like the scorched look either. Thanks for sharing. Merry Christmas!
@susanholloway78835 жыл бұрын
I agree with you about the scorched look. I imagine the smell of burned wood would tend to linger also. I can see maybe staining it for a darker look or maybe putting a battery operated candle be hind it so light shows through the holes.

@@susanholloway7883 It would be very pretty with a light. Great idea!

I love this and being a displaced southern gal myself, I just loved hearing my kinda accent! One suggestion that I would offer would be to mention that if you use hotglue, it needs to be via a gun that makes the blue very hot! I heard about this craft from a friend who failed at her attempt and learned that she used a mini glue gun so that the blue wasn't hot enough. Thank you for sharing this craft.😁
@oldfolkiedulcimer4 жыл бұрын
Stupid auto correct, "blue" should be GLUE!

Hi! I've been watching what feels like millions of Christmas DIY videos and this is my absolute favorite!! Thank you for your videos. I always look forward to seeing them. You're always so enjoyable to watch. Maybe because you always laugh? Something about your voice is so relaxing to hear after I've had a horrid day... Like today. And you are now my most favorite person after hearing you use the word "wonky". Lol I thought that I was the ONLY one who did!! Lol I hope that you and your family have a VERY Merry Christmas and a safe and happy New Year!!! Chrissy
